The Guardian's Sword

My mom always assured me I was a normal kid. But the older I got, the more I

realized...I was special. I found out the truth about myself when I met Maya &

Kiara. They always called me Rose instead of Roslin. I had the best time with

them. But the truth had to get out of its burrow. One day, Maya, Kiara, & I were

making friendship bracelets. Then suddenly, we all started feeling tired. Too

tired!! We couldn’t keep our eyes open! Finally, we were all too tired and closed

our eyes. Immediately, we heard a voice. “You are guardians. Your job is to

protect this sword to fulfill your mission. Though you have just started, your first

task is to find the guardian's sword. After every guardian is done with their whole

mission, they must hide the sword with their powers. During the main mission,

which is most likely your first one (finding the sword), you get your powers after

doing something that helps you get to the next level. Do you accept this quest?”

We all open our eyes. “Girls, did you just see what I saw?” I said. “We are all

guardians,” we said at the same time. A few days later, our quest started. It’s

kinda hard to tell you how, but let’s just say a few signs came to start the quest.

We were honestly clueless. We didn’t know where to start. But we began to walk

around. You never know...You could always find some clues! Kiara (as usual) kept

on crying that she was tired. “Kiara... can you please be quiet!! We are trying to-”

Rustle rustle!! “Um... did you guys hear that?...” Kiara said, “Yeah... Let’s go

further to see.” We all followed Maya. “Hey!!! Watch it!! I’m too young to die!!” We

all looked down. “Oh!! Sorry... wait...are you a Fairy??” Maya asks

suspiciously.“UHHHH.......Duhh!! What do I look like? A chimpanzee??” “Jeez!!

Sorry.” I say, “Um... not to be rude... but can you help us?” “Help you?” “Uh, yeah,

we're sort of kinda lost, or at least don’t know where to go for this quest.” “Wait...

Quest?” said the fairy, “um... yeah.” “OMG!! The other fairies & I were also

guardians!!!” “Really!! So will you help us?” I asked hopefully. “Is that all you care

about?” “No but-” “Of course!!! You guys come on out... they seem friendly.” A

bunch of little fairies burst out. We all took some time to get to know them and

then started our journey ahead. While we were walking, Maya stumbled on a rock.

She just scraped her knee, so we all looked for a leaf or vine to wrap her knee in.

Suddenly, we heard a roar. ROARRRR!!!!!! “Um... guys, did you-” “Sorry, that was

my stomach. I’m hungry.”

said Frita the fairy, who was quite mean to us. ROARRR!!! “Frita!!” “ That wasn’t

me!!!” “Um...guys...” “Kiara-” I look and realize what she was gonna say. A huge

hungry lion was waiting to eat us. Kiara went up to the lion and started petting it.

Suddenly, the lion stopped and sat down happily. Then Kiara started flying. With

magical lights circling her. “Guys, I think I got my powers! I have animal powers!”

“Congrats!” we all say. We walked for some more time. Then we all decided that we

should rest. With the help of the fairies, we made a pretty good house. Then we

started to look for some sticks, we all made a fire, and went to bed. The next day

was a new adventure. We went walking a little bit to see if we could find more

clues. But instead, we found a pond. That’s right... a pond. We all looked in. You

never know, you could always find somethin’. But right when we looked, a huge

piece of water slurped us into the pond!! When I opened my eyes, I was

underwater. I saw my friends playing around with their...mermaid tails!! I could

easily breathe!! Then an evil siren came. It took Maya, and she swam away!! Kiara

and I raced towards her. But we lost her. Then we kept moving until we found

Maya!! But she was right in front of a dungeon. With the siren dead! “Guys... I

have... water powers.” “Whoaaaa,” Kiara & I said. We brought Maya to shore cause

she was slightly dizzy. Then, we were back to being human. We ran to the fairies

and told them everything. Then we slept with another fire built. The next day felt

like an important day. We all started walking. I kinda felt left out when Kiara or

Maya brought up their powers. Suddenly, we were in a dark cave.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Screamed Kiara. “Calm down Kiara.” Maya

said in her annoyed accent that she normally uses on me. Kiara was afraid of

anything someone could be afraid of. You name it. We gave Kiara a bear that the

fairies stitched. I brought it along for Kiara. I knew something would happen.

When we walked out, we saw something. The thing we’ve been looking for. The

Guardian's Sword! I was so relieved!!! I thought it would take 1000 years!!! We

quickly ran to the sword. Then right when the sword was in our hands, Frita & the

others snatched it!! “Frita!! What are you doing!?” “Taking back what I want!!”

Then the sword stopped glowing & turned into an evil red. Frita took it. I was MAD.

And I mean MAD. I raced forward. I took back the sword from Frita in rage. Then

the sword turned to its normal color when it was in my hands. Suddenly, I started

flying. With magic lights around me. “I have fire powers,” I said with a raging

voice. Then, I shooted fire at all the fairies. Maya & Kiara used their powers too.

Immediately, the fairies were dead. Maya, Kiara, & I stood proudly. Ready for

whatever was ahead of us. And we would always fight it together.
