Disrespect

Disrespect - Jordan Lee (Frank Vessels Elementary School, Fifth Grade)

Something tiny and mysterious grabbed me from

the rocket, filled with space creatures that landed on the

edge of a huge forest. It dragged me through the forest

into an abandoned campsite. Loud, vague chattering

brought me back to consciousness.

They were small and strong enough to save me. A group of gnomes, like the ones from my world, before I was taken by the intergalactic creatures. They healed my injuries I got from

the creatures. I used to crush and destroy the gnomes from my world. I would never disrespect their kind again. I will never forget their kindness.
