A Presentation

A Presentation - Praneetha Katru (Margaret Landell Elementary School, Fifth Grade)

I walked to the front of the room with all my partners. Holding my note cards, I lifted my chin. Then, Looking at my teacher, we waited for the class to be silent and my teacher’s signal to start. 

My hands wrapped around the microphone as I talked without stuttering. I grinned while talking. I wasn’t scared at all. I confidently stood straight, giving the other students eye contact. I calmly said my part in the presentation. Then, my partner took the mic and finished it off.

Afterwards, we confidently looked at our teacher and waited for her comments.
