Who are we?
A group of students who are interested in a multitude of topics but are all passionate about writing.
The National Writing Invitational was primarily ran by Buena Park High School's Class of 2025 Brian Lee (Founder of NWI) but will be run by La Mirada High School's Aaron Han along with students Gabrielle Park, Sua Kim, and Charis Kim as of 2025. What is the National Writing Invitational?
A contest where students can showcase their best works, compete against each other with their writing, and where they can enrich their creativity.
How do I submit?
Go the Submissions Page and click on the page that fits your writing. There you will be lead to a google forms where you can submit your writing.
When is the deadline for all submissions?
August 1, 2025 for the annual writing competition and Kindle book. The end of the month for submissions wishing to be featured on the monthly publication gallery. (ie: if a writer wants their work to be published on the website at the end of January, they have until the end of January to submit)
When will the winners be announced?
Some time after the contest is over and once the judges have finished their work.
What are the prizes?
Judges will award first, second, and third prize for each category, depending on sufficient number of submissions.
