2.21.23
Hello 5th/6th Grade BHA Families,
What a special day we had today! The Students were blessed with 5 different Career Day speakers, all of whom shared with the Students how they use their skills and talents to bring love and hope to a broken world. It was such a life-giving morning! And although we didn't tackle any of the syllabus lessons today, I do believe the Students gleaned wonderful words of wisdom from our speakers. Please ask them about it. I'm sure they have lots to share with you!
Blessings,

We are taking a break from our study on the Armor of God from Ephesians to dig into a Lent devotion. Today we covered Ash Wednesday and the spritual discipline of fasting. We read this devotional, discussed it, and then I asked the Students to discuss the idea of fasting during Lent with you. Perhaps as a family you could all decide to do this as a sacrifice to the Lord and preparation for the celebration of Easter!
Miah G. graciously opened up the class in prayer. Thank you, Miah!
Addison was given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for Bonus points as a makeup from a few weeks ago. She did fabulous!
We dismissed at 9:40am for our first Career Day presentation in the Sanctuary where we listened to fitnesss entrepenurs, Mr. & Mrs. Tiqui of Foothill CrossFit / Cable CrossFit.
