Hello BHA 5th / 6th Grade Families,
I was so happy to meet most of you this week at Orientation and look forward to our 1st day of school next Tuesday. I wanted to take the time to recap the Orientation as a refresher for many of you, but also as a means to get the information over to those who were unable to attend.
Attached please find the individual Class Supplies List / Class Info / Syllabus for each subject. Please do know the syllabus is subject to change, depending on different inspirations or leadings from the Lord that may (and will!) occur. I hope that doesn't interfere with your plans for the year, but I am committed to inviting the Holy Spirit into our classroom, our conversations, our year. My priority in the classroom is to teach the subjects of Physical Science, American History, and IEW with enthusiasm while encouraging the students to discover the many ways God loves them. You are their main Teacher and I am an extension. Thank you, in advance, for your support and prayers! You will receive the same from me.
Families, we are going to have a year filled with fun projects, exciting experiments, small group tasks, presentations, relationship building, and most importantly, opportunities to lean into the Lord. Each week you will be able to read a summary of our day as well as view classroom photos and download that week's homework via my Google Sites class page. You can access this page via your MarkersPro account. Please see below for steps on how to set up your MarkersPro account via the Branches website; password: harvest.
Via the MyBHA tab, parents will be able to access:

Field trip information
Closed School Calendar. The public website has a list of general school dates. In this closed calendar parents will be informed about private school field trips, on and off campus events.
In the future, this is where you will go to sign-up for field trips, order student pictures, and any other private registration or payment needs.
The idea is to keep students safe. In the past all this information was available for the public, however there is no need for the public to know ASB is passing out valentine grams or information about our potluck, etc.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be reached via email or phone/text (617.901.7722) My office hours each week are Tuesday 1pm - Friday 12pm.
Looking forward to seeing all the amazing things the Lord will do in our classroom this year!
See you on Tuesday!
God Bless,
Mrs. Ayala
