That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace.
Psalm 144:12
Hi!My name is Mrs. Ayala and I am so excited to meet you!
A little about me .... I was born in the Azores, Portugal, but grew up on the East Coast. In 2012 the Lord started putting it on my heart to take a huge leap of faith and move to California. Admittedly I argued with the Lord for two years and then finally made the 3,000 mile trek in 2014. He blessed my obedience greatly because shortly after moving here I met my love, Fernando. We have been married for 7 years and now have 2 sweet girls, Evie (6) and Analiese (3) in addition to 2 darling dogs, Petie, who is a 7 year old Pitbull Mix, and Puppy Petunia, a tri-color English Bulldog. Petunia joined our family this summer!
We attend Life Bible Fellowship Church where I serve on the Prayer Team as well as a Sunday School substitute teacher. My time is also spent serving in a dual role as a Volunteer Coordinator and as a Client Advocate for our church’s outreach ministry, Assure, a life-affirming pregnancy clinic in Fontana.
My family and I love to travel and explore all the world around us. We enjoy Legoland and Sea World, and of course our Southern California beaches! And this year we made amazing European memories as we visited my homeland, Portugal, with a short stop in France to say hello to the Eiffel Tower. Locally we enjoy hiking the various trails in our very own neighborhood here in San Antonio Heights!
I received my B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts where I majored in International Relations and minored in Portuguese. For almost two decades I was an executive for an international athletic brand before becoming a stay at home Mom and pursuing my passions of faith, family, and fitness. I have been homeschooling Evie for almost three years and have started to dabble in homeschooling Analiese. I enjoy teaching and feel called to support other Moms on their homeschool journey too.
I truly can’t wait to experience all that the Lord will do in this new school year!
