You’ll find re-heating instructions for both the oven and the microwave provided right on the label of each meal container. Follow the preparation instructions on the packaging and reheat until the meal reaches an internal temperature of 165° F. When using an oven, remove the plastic seal from the meal completely to ensure proper ventilation. While we do include generalized instructions on each meal sleeve, please know the heating can vary based upon your specific oven/microwave due to the wide variety of every individual make and model of oven or microwave.
Tip: We recommend using a sheet pan when using a standard oven to heat meals so it is easy to get out once hot!

MEALS
At this time, we do not recommend the freezing of any Factor meals. Please know, our meals last up to 7 days in the fridge, and we ship in insulated boxes with specially designed gel packs to keep your meals fresh for you to enjoy.
Although we don't recommend freezing your meals, but if you do, it will lengthen the shelf life of the meals and it can result in loss of flavor, and freezer burn.
ADD ON
At this time, we do not recommend the freezing of any Factor add ons. Please know, some of our add ons do last longer than our standard meal 7 day range. In this case, you will always find the best by date located on the specific add on you receive.

The Factor premium meals are optional and will never be automatically added to your orders. This means, if you have it in your order, you hand selected the item.
At this time, the general recipes will rotate week to week; however, the type of protein will remain the same each week: 2 Steak (Petit Filet) dishes and 1 Mahi Mahi dish.

Factor takes the stress out of healthy living. We provide fresh, ready-prepared meals that support even the busiest of lifestyles! We shop, prep, cook, and deliver to your door for you so you can experience the benefits of clean eating without the hassle. When you are fit, you look great, feel amazing and have the energy and focus you need. As an added bonus, our team of dietitians is always available for extra accountability to help you crush your goals with our nutrition coaching programs.
We deliver Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on your zip code. Our cutoff for any new or modified orders is dependent on your delivery day. For Saturday and Sunday Deliveries, the cutoff is Tuesday at 11:59 pm CT, one week prior to delivery. For all other delivery days, the cutoff will be Wednesday at 11:59 CT for deliveries the following week.
After your first order, you’ll start receiving a box of food every week. You will always have until your cutoff time to modify the order, including the meal selections, plan size, and billing and shipping information.
We need a week of lead time because all meals are completely made fresh-to-order by our chefs. We wait until after the cutoff to order ingredients, so we can assure our ingredients are fresh and we don't have too much.
You can view our current menu without providing any personal information! On a desktop or laptop, just click, "WEEKLY MENU" at the top of our homepage. On a mobile device, click on the dropdown menu at the top of the page (3 horizontal lines), and click on "WEEKLY MENU."
Always fresh. We deliver the meals in insulated boxes filled with frozen gel packs designed to keep your food at refrigerated temperatures through transit. Once you receive your meals, you should place them in the fridge ASAP. Once in the fridge, they are good for at least the next 7 days (expiration is printed on the label). Our meals are intended to be enjoyed fresh for optimal quality, we do not recommend freezing.
When you get started with signup, you can add a promo code or coupon in the section that asks 'Do you have a discount code?'. You can input the code or coupon at checkout.
Each meal feeds one adult for one meal. Our meals will vary in nutrition facts and ingredients, so always make sure to check this before ordering each week. You can view a full nutrition label and list of ingredients for each meal by clicking on the image of the meal on our menu page.
Some of our breakfast options work well to be split in two for a lighter breakfast.
You certainly can! We really try to make it easy to manage your subscription, so if you need to take a break from our delicious meals or you decide that Factor isn’t a fit for you, all you need to do is log into your account and you can cancel your subscription there.
While you can cancel at any time, canceling your subscription does not cancel existing orders. If you cancel your subscription before the weekly cutoff time indicated on your My Menu page, no automated order will be placed for delivery the following week. If you cancel your subscription after the weekly cutoff time and an automated order was placed, that order cannot be canceled and you will receive it the following week. After that, however, you will not incur further charges or receive future deliveries from Factor if your subscription is canceled.
We offer 6 different plan sizes of 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or 18 delicious meals delivered to you each week. Our meals start at just $11 per serving.

MANAGING MY SUBSCRIPTION
Each week we will automatically select meals for you based on any meal preferences indicated on your account, but you can edit meal selections anytime before your weekly cutoff, 11:59 pm CT on the day of the week indicated on your My Menu page for delivery the following week.

Click on the date of the delivery you'd like to edit. You can find the “dates” at the top of the will be located at the top of the page just below the Menu Bar.
Click 'Edit Meals.'
Adding Meals: Click on 'Add To Your Box' next to any meal you'd like to include in your order.
Increase/decrease Quantity: Click the ‘+’ to increase the quantity and click “-” to remove a meal from your or reduce the quantity.
Once you are done selecting your meals, click on 'Save.'
You'll be taken to the Add-Ons page. Choose any add-ons you'd like and click ‘Save Add-Ons’ or click 'Skip Add-Ons' to save and confirm your order.

To subscribe to an add-on:

If an add-on is available for subscription, you can check the box next to “Subscribe to this add-on”.
Follow the steps to start your subscription.

You can easily cancel your add-on subscription any time before your weekly cutoff of Wednesday 11:59 pm CST.
To cancel an add-on subscription:
In the add-ons section, click "Edit add-ons".
Find the subscription you want to cancel under "Your add-ons".
Uncheck the box that says "Subscribed".
Confirm by clicking "Unsubscribe from add-on".
Click “Save” to confirm the changes to your box.
Once confirmed, you’ll no longer receive the add-on unless you manually add it, or start a new add on subscription.
NOTE: Add-ons will be charged with your meal box directly after the weekly cutoff, seen on your My Menu Page, the week prior to your scheduled delivery.
You’ll be charged for your add-on subscriptions, together with your meal box, the week prior to your scheduled delivery. To find a breakdown of your order total, including the quantity and price of your add-ons, go to the specific week and click “View Order Total.
When you subscribe to an add-on, we automatically add it to each box that you order on a weekly basis. At this time, we can’t deliver add-ons on their own without a meal box. This means that when you skip a week of meals, you won’t receive your add-on for that week either.
The quantity of add-ons you originally subscribed to will be your default quantity for future week. You can change the quantity of your add-ons for future weeks by visiting your account before your weekly cutoff the week prior to your scheduled delivery.
To change the quantity of your add-on for a specific week:

Yes. We do offer ketogenic meals. These meals will be labeled with a "KETO" tag underneath the photo of the meal.
In order for our meals to be deemed ketogenic, the meal must contain at least 60% of calories coming from fat, around 20% of calories coming from protein, and 10% or less of calories coming from carbohydrates. Since each individual will have a different carbohydrate threshold that allows them to remain in ketosis, the carbohydrate content of our meals varies.
Some of our meals may be low in carbohydrates, but are not quite high enough in fat to be considered ketogenic! By simply adding more fat to these meals you can achieve a "more ketogenic friendly" meal.
Yes, we do offer vegetarian meals, and we are working hard at adding even more options to our menu! We strive to have 2-3 vegetarian options on the menu every single week! Many of these vegetarian meals are also considered vegan, which means they are designed to be free of all animal products - no meat, fish, eggs, or dairy.
While our meals are not designed specifically for weight loss, they can help you meet your nutrition-related goals depending on how you combine our meals with the other food you enjoy in a day.

We currently enter our meals into MyFitnessPal, LoseIt, and Carb Manager - if you use any of these apps, then you don't have to enter in the macros for individual meals, as we do that work for you! Unfortunately, if you use any other nutrition counter app, you'd have to enter in the details manually, as we don't have barcodes for our meals at this time.
The fat will vary in our meals based on the type of meal that you are looking at. Please note, meals marked as “Keto” are designed to have the majority of calories coming from sources of fat. If you’re looking to lower your fat consumption, we recommend choosing from our selection of dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan meals.
Most of our meals range from 350-900 calories and will average around 600 calories per meal. Occasionally a meal will go above or below this. In order to select the meals best for you, always make sure to click on the images of the meals on the menu page to see the nutrition facts label and ingredients.

In an effort to provide further transparency for our team, consumers and suppliers, we’re sharing our U.S. Chicken Welfare Policy to outline our standards, where we are and where we’re going.
For all chickens being raised for Factor’s supply chain or that provide our eggs, we stand for:
Freedom from hunger and thirst
Freedom from discomfort
Freedom from pain, injury or disease
Freedom to express normal behavior
Freedom from fear and distress
This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for animal abuse across the entire lifespan of an animal. If any of our suppliers is found to have been abusing animals, we will immediately terminate the relationship until sufficient evidence is shown that employees have been retrained and practices have been corrected to meet these standards.
We encourage our suppliers to progressively adopt changes to animal raising systems that will ensure better welfare outcomes for broiler chickens. These improvements include transitions to enhanced enrichments in the growing environment, improved handling for live animals on farm and the implementation of controlled atmosphere stunning systems at processing facilities. Making steady, science-based progress toward improved welfare outcomes for animals raised for food production ensures that suppliers meet stewardship mandates for our animals while continuing to ensure safe and affordable sources of chicken for our consumers.
Achieving these additional standards for broiler chickens is a complex undertaking that will require industrywide collaboration in order to succeed. We are committed to collaborating across our supply chain to further animal welfare while preserving consumer access to quality, affordable food. Our Standards
We believe in the welfare of the chickens being raised for our supply chain and require a cage-free environment from our suppliers. Chickens must also be provided a clean and enriched environment that allows them to turn around and flap their wings.
There are still improvements to be achieved in the way chickens are raised for our supply chain. Factor75 has made a commitment to support additional standards for chickens in our business, working with the poultry suppliers to achieve these standards by 2024.
Factor75 will also work with suppliers, peers and other stakeholders to encourage efforts to achieve the following standards for all broiler chickens in our supply chain
__By 2024: • Offer improved environments in line with the Global Animal Partnership (GAP) standards for better lighting, litter quality and other enrichments. • Provide birds with enough space to perform natural behaviors, including stocking densities that provide the best outcomes, in line with GAP. • Develop systems to process broiler chickens in a manner that avoids pre-process handling, and instead uses a multi-step controlled atmospheric processing system. • Require supplier participation in third-party auditing to track progress.
And by 2026: • Transition to breeds of chicken recognized as having improved welfare outcomes, including better overall health, in line with GAP.

Your meals will stay fresh for a full 7 days in the fridge until your next delivery arrives, and there is an 'Enjoy By' date printed on each of the meal sleeves.
We use several carriers depending on your location, including CMS (Chicago Messenger Service), UDS, AxleHire, UPS and FedEx. Please contact our Customer Experience Team at 888.573.5727 for details about delivery to your area.
All of our meals are delivered to you in completely BPA-free CPET individual plastic containers!
CPET stands for Crystallizable PolyEthylene Terephthalate. These plastics are safe for food storage as well as heating in the microwave or oven. They are also designated as recyclable 1, so go ahead and put them in the recycling bin after you've enjoyed the meals!
We ship our meals in insulated boxes with gel packs that will keep the box at refrigerated temperatures for quite a long time! We thoroughly test them in all seasons across all climates.
Keep in mind that it is normal for the gel packs to be slightly melted by the time they arrive. This is because they release cold air into the box as they melt. The cold air does dissipate quickly when you open the box, so you should transfer the meals to the fridge immediately.
Here is how to recycle and dispose of packaging materials:
Boxes - Break down the box and place it curbside with your recycling.
Insulation - We utilize several different types of insulation: Laminated insulation (brown paper product) is curbside recyclable. PET insulation is made of 100% recycled materials; however, it should be disposed of in the trash. Cotton insulation should be discarded in the trash. https://www.plasticfilmrecycling.org/ Gel packs - The gel packs are non-toxic and reusable! The contents of our gel packs are made of 99% salt water and 1% sodium polyacrylate. You can dispose of them by draining the gel into the trash. To avoid clogging your pipes, please don’t put the contents of the ice packs in your sink or toilet. If you’d like, you can also donate them locally to a Local Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts of America. The plastic film should not be curbside recycled, but you can find more information about where to recycle it here: www.plasticfilmrecycling.org.
Food containers - our food containers are BPA-free recyclable plastic #1. Be sure to rinse them thoroughly!
We’ve worked hard to find effective shipping methods that aren’t wasteful. If your town doesn’t recycle certain materials, or you’re interested in other options, check out Earth911.com for a list of recycling facilities near your area.
It is not uncommon for gel packs to not be fully frozen by arrival; gel packs melt as they keep our boxes cold. We have designed our insulation to keep our boxes and their contents at refrigerated temperatures. We have thoroughly tested our insulation to withstand different climates and seasons.
However, we strongly recommend you transfer your meals immediately to the refrigerator upon delivery. All proteins should arrive below 41℉. If your proteins arrive above this temperature, please discard them and contact our Customer Care Team.
When your order is delivered, unpack your meals and slide them right into your fridge. Yep, that's it! Our meals are intended to be enjoyed fresh for optimal quality, we do not recommend freezing.
Note: Meals are fresh and delicious for at least 7 days after delivery, and there is an 'Enjoy By' date printed on each of the packages.
We deliver to all 48 contiguous states! So, if you reside in the USA, and you don't live in Alaska or Hawaii—We can have meals delivered to you.

You do not need to be home to receive your meals! We ship our meals in insulated boxes with gel packs that will keep the box at refrigerated temperatures for quite a long time! We thoroughly test them in all seasons across all climates.
Keep in mind that it is normal for the gel packs to be slightly melted by the time they arrive. This is because they release cold air into the box as they melt. The cold air does dissipate quickly when you open it, so you should transfer the meals to the fridge immediately.
Meals should arrive at a temperature of 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. If your meals arrive above this temperature, please discard the meals and contact our Customer Experience Team so we can further assist.
Our Ready To Blend Smoothies can be purchased as an add on by any Factor customers. To purchase and view these offerings, you must be logged into your Factor account. Once logged in, you can add the smoothies to your cart from the add on screen after editing your meals.

Our Ready To Blend Smoothies mark Factor’s very first frozen add on. They should always be stored in your freezer, not refrigerator.
To enjoy from frozen, simply follow the instructions listed on the packaging of each cup.

Yes. Your Ready To Blend Smoothies will always arrive in a completely separate box than your other meals and add ons. This box could arrive 1-2 days after your Factor meals box so be on the look out for 2 separate tracking info links. This is in order for us to ensure they arrive in optimal condition for you to enjoy.

Yes. Because the smoothies arrive in a separate box, this can be expected with any order of our Ready To Blend Smoothies! After your Ready To Blend smoothie purchase has been processed, you will receive an order confirmation email including details informing you of this. Additionally, you will receive an email with a tracking link for your delivery once your order has been shipped.
Rest assured, we freeze our product at peak freshness and pack them with dry ice inside an insulated box to keep them safe and cold, in case you can’t get to your delivery right away. We even modify our packaging based on season to ensure optimal freshness.

Yes, our packaging is fully curbside recyclable including our insulated liners!
As for dry ice, just place it in a well-ventilated area at room temperature, and the remainder of the ice will evaporate away. Please do not leave it in a place accessible to children or pets. Never dispose of dry ice in a trash can, chemical waste container, garbage can, sink, or toilet. Always use protective gloves to protect your skin: prolonged contact can cause an injury similar to a burn.

Dry ice is solidified carbon dioxide and is much colder than regular ice. It can burn skin similar to frostbite. As dry ice melts, it turns into carbon dioxide gas and can be a very serious hazard in a small space that isn't well-ventilated. You should wear thick, insulated gloves when handling it and avoid inhaling carbon dioxide gas.
Keep dry ice out of the reach of children and pets. Never eat or swallow dry ice. For safe disposal, allow leftover dry ice to melt and turn into gas in a well-ventilated area. Dry ice can cause carbon dioxide gas to accumulate and build up pressure, do not dispose of dry ice in a sewer, garbage disposal, garbage chute, etc.

FOOD SAFETY AND COVID-19 UPDATES
The health of our customers and the safety of our food has always been the #1 priority for Factor and while COVID-19 is very much top of mind to all of us these days, it is only one of many food safety concerns that the ready-to-eat meals businesses (such as restaurants, grocery stores and Factor) manage every day.
We take this responsibility seriously and always meet or exceed the ongoing guidance from the experts at CDC, FDA, USDA and Health Departments across all aspects of our business and are taking extra precautions to provide further assurance to our customers during this current pandemic.
Our kitchen and production facility undergoes a full, “deep” sanitation daily as well as multiple sanitation cleaning of all equipment throughout the day.
Employees are given a health screening as they arrive at work and are sent home if they are ill; all employees properly wash their hands every time they enter a food production area and always wear gloves and masks when they handle food. They are provided clean coats, which are changed at specific times during each day. Hair and beard nets have always been worn throughout our production facility with 100% compliance.
The Factor facility is permitted by the Health Department whose standards mirror or exceed those of the USDA, FDA and Illinois Department of Health. We operate with robust quality and food safety protocols which are designed specifically for our facility. And of course, our kitchen adheres to USDA cooking/cooling temperature requirements.
Employees who pack your weekly order wear masks and gloves when handling the packaged meals and equipment is regularly wiped down and sanitized.

ENJOYING MY MEALS
Our meals are fully cooked to safe internal temperatures. All you have to do is reheat the meals in the microwave or oven. Please look at the back of the meal sleeve for meal-specific heating instructions. Follow the preparation instructions on the packaging and reheat until the meal reaches an internal temperature of 165° F. Please know, heating times can vary depending on your microwave/oven.
Tip: We recommend using a sheet pan when using a standard oven to heat meals so it is easy to get out once hot!
Note: Our meal trays are not designed to be heated in a convection (or toaster) oven and/or heated with those settings
You certainly can! You’ll find that there are re-heating instructions for both the oven and the microwave provided right on the label of each meal container. Follow the preparation instructions on the packaging and reheat until the meal reaches an internal temperature of 165° F. When using an oven, remove the plastic seal from the meal completely to ensure proper ventilation. While we do include generalized instructions on each meal sleeve, please know the heating can vary based upon your specific oven/microwave due to the wide variety of every individual make and model of oven or microwave.
Tip: We recommend using a sheet pan when using a standard oven to heat meals so it is easy to get out once hot.

At this time, we do not offer family portions. We are looking to add this feature to our meals in the future, so definitely check back for updates! Currently, each meal serves one adult.
We sure do. Our menu changes every week, and we currently add 2-3 new meals to our menu each week. After the weekly cutoff on Wednesdays at 11:59pm CT, you’ll be able to view and modify orders from a brand new menu that our chefs have cooked up.
At this time, we are unable to customize menus based on specific ingredients or macronutrient needs. However, you do have the ability to view and modify your meals each week and remove any items you don’t want.
Our menu contains a full list of ingredients and nutrition label for each meal. You would just need to log on at some point before the cutoff and do a quick check of the meals we have put in your cart. If any meals contain an unwanted ingredient, just remove them from your cart and add something else. Whatever is in your cart at 11:59 pm CT on your cutoff day will be locked in as your order for the following week.
