When assisting customers who order RTB smoothies, keep in mind:
Do not proactively mention RTB smoothies as this offering is only available in select delivery areas
It’s extremely important to properly educate customers by informing them that RTB smoothies are shipped in a separate box with dry ice and can arrive at least 1-2 days after their standard Factor delivery

Please know that your Ready to Blend smoothies are carefully packed separately from your standard meal order to ensure that these ingredients arrive to you just as fresh as they left us! Because of this, you can expect to receive your smoothies by the Wednesday of your delivery week at the latest.
NOTE: Do not report as a delay or missing add on in the ART when meals arrive without the RTB smoothies

What are Factor Ready To Blend Smoothies and how can they be purchased?
Factor Ready To Blend (RTB) smoothies are Factor's first frozen product and Factor's first region specific add on
They are frozen smoothie mixes that require no ingredient prep.
To enjoy, customers are instructed to simply add a liquid of their choosing and blend in their own smoothie blender
NOTE: These are different than our bottled juiced/fresh smoothie add ons
RTB smoothies can only be purchased by customers who live in select regions of the US and only as an add on bundle. They cannot be purchased individually.

NOTE : Similar to HelloFresh add ons, customers will not see RTB smoothies on their add on menu if they are unable to receive this product

How will Ready To Blend smoothies be shipped to customers and what do I need to know about the delivery of this add on?
Since it is a frozen product, RTB smoothies will be shipped with dry ice in a different box than our other meals and add ons
Even though they will be shipped separately, there is no additional shipping fee
Customer- facing Delivery:
Customers will receive a box specifically for their Ready To Blend Smoothies and be emailed 2 separate tracking links
You will be able to access both tracking links in BOB. If a customer reaches out proactively, educate the customer that it is normal for this product to arrive later than their standard Factor delivery (by Wednesday of their delivery week at the latest)
This box can arrive between 1-2 days later than their other meals/add ons

NOTE: In their shipping confirmation email, customers will receive an email informing them that their order of RTB smoothies can arrive between 1-2 days later
If the customer's smoothie box does arrive 1-2 days after their other meals/add ons, do not consider this a delay and do not provide compensation for this. This is intentional and BAU for this product
How should we handle any packaging or quality issues for Ready To Blend Smoothies:

If the customer has an issue with their RTB smoothies (pick and pack, quality, etc.), always refund the customer for the impacted issue
This product will be found in BOB under the customer's add ons as a separate charge
It's extremely important that:
You ensure you select the RTB add on bundle when reporting. Do not mistake this with our other fresh smoothie add ons
You always ask probing questions to identify which smoothie product the customer is referring to

If customers call in about blenders, you should let customer know that any sized blender should work to blend smoothie.
If customer calls in saying they are having a hard time blending, suggest to customer to let the smoothie thaw for 30 minutes to soften the ingredients before blending.
That is a great question, You may use any size of blender for blending your smoothies.
I am really sorry to know that you are having issues with blending out your smoothies. I would like to suggest that you let the smoothie thaw out for at least 30 minutes to soften the ingredients before blending.

We always recommend viewing the packaging for the most up to date prep instructions and enjoy by date once you receive our Ready to Blend Smoothies! As a friendly reminder, our cutoff to modify orders is always the Wednesday prior to your delivery at 11:59 pm CT.

Our Ready To Blend Smoothies mark Factor’s very first frozen add on. They should always be stored in your freezer, not refrigerator. To enjoy from frozen, simply follow the instructions listed on the packaging of each cup. We always recommend viewing the packaging for the most up to date prep instructions and enjoy by date once you receive our Ready to Blend Smoothies.

Yes. Your Ready To Blend Smoothies will always arrive in a completely separate box than your other meals and add ons. This box could arrive 1-2 days after your Factor meals box so be on the look out for 2 separate tracking info links.This is in order for us to ensure they arrive in optimal condition for you to enjoy! Yes. Because the smoothies arrive in a separate box, this can be expected with any order of our Ready To Blend Smoothies. After your Ready To Blend smoothie purchase has been processed, you will receive an order confirmation email including details informing you of this. Additionally, you will receive an email with a tracking link for your delivery once your order has been shipped. Rest assured, we freeze our product at peak freshness and pack them with dry ice inside an insulated box to keep them safe and cold, in case you can’t get to your delivery right away. We even modify our packaging based on season to ensure optimal freshness.

We freeze our product at peak freshness and pack them with dry ice inside an insulated box to keep them safe and cold, in case you can’t get to your delivery right away. We even modify our packaging based on season to ensure optimal freshness. Still, despite shipping your box for maximum freshness, we recommend that you not keep your box outside for more than 6 to 8 hours after delivery. If your products appear thawed when you open the box, check for temperature: If your product is below 40°F, you can enjoy your Ready To Blend smoothie or place it in the freezer to enjoy at a later date. If your product is above 40°F, please discard the products and contact our Customer Care team for further assistance.

Is my smoothie box packaging recyclable?
Yes, our packaging is fully curbside recyclable including our insulated liners! As for dry ice, just place it in a well-ventilated area at room temperature, and the remainder of the ice will evaporate away. Please do not leave it in a place accessible to children or pets. Never dispose of dry ice in a trash can, chemical waste container, garbage can, sink, or toilet. Always use protective gloves to protect your skin: prolonged contact can cause an injury similar to a burn.

We’re so sorry for any confusion. Unfortunately, due to current shipping constraints for frozen products, we are unable to ship the Ready-To-Blend Smoothie Variety Bundle to your region. To prevent any confusion, your menu does not reflect this offering at this time. We truly appreciate your interest in our first frozen product, and we hope to expand our operations for this add on soon! How do I safely handle dry ice?
Dry ice is solidified carbon dioxide. When dry ice eventually evaporates, it turns into carbon dioxide gas. There are several important precautions to take when handling dry ice: Dry ice is much colder than regular ice and can burn the skin similar to frostbite. You should always wear insulated gloves when handling it. Keep dry ice out of the reach of children. Never eat or swallow dry ice. Avoid inhaling carbon dioxide gas. Because dry ice can cause carbon dioxide gas to accumulate and build up pressure, do not dispose of dry ice in a sewer, garbage disposal, garbage chute, or other bin. Instead, allow leftover dry ice to evaporate into gas in a well-ventilated area. NOTE: Currently our Ready To Blend Smoothie Add Ons are available and visible on the menu for customers in select regions only. We hope to expand soon.
How to handle dry ice :
Dry Ice is much colder than regular ice and can burn skin similar to frostbite.
Wear thick, insulated gloves when handling.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Never eat or swallow dry ice.
How to dispose dry ice :
As dry ice melts, it turns into Carbon Dioxide gas and can be a very serious hazard in small and/or not well ventilated spaces. Dry ice can cause carbon dioxide gas to accumulate and build up pressure so special disposal needed.
Allow dry ice to melt in well-ventilated area.
Avoid inhaling carbon dioxide gas.
Do not dispose of dry ice in sinks, sewers, garbage disposal, garbage chutes, etc.
