Dr. Andrew Korzeniewski is a Lecturer in the Department of Classics at the University of Pittsburgh. After earning his BA and MA degrees at Villanova University, he earned his PhD in Classics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014, with a study of Aeneas. His research interests include humor in ancient epic, the Augustan Age, ancient and modern intertextuality, literary social criticism, history of the Latin linguistics, and Dante Alighieri’s relationship with Vergil.
