The following special topics modules, which focus on aspects of ancient life that standard Latin textbooks often overlook, are intended to provide a more comprehensive view of the diversity of the ancient world and its study. In these modules, experts share an aspect of their research via a brief video, along with a selected bibliography and a set of Latin vocabulary words relevant to the topic at hand. This additional vocabulary can be used in completing composition exercises, to integrate the acquisition of knowledge about this special topic into students' understanding of Latin grammar.
