Samson killed one thousand Philistine soldiers with the jawbone of a donkey explained.

Judges 13:1 - 13:6 explained.

Judges 16:21 - 16:30 explained.

Genesis 18:23 - 18:33 explained.

Numbers 25:16 - 25:18 explained.

Samson is tied up and given to the Philistine Army.

In Judges 15:14 the “Spirit of God” came on Samson and gave him strength.

In Judges 15:15 Samson “finds the new jaw bone of a donkey” meaning this is not an old crumbling bone but something new decreed by God.

In Judges 15:16 Samson strikes 1000 Philistine soldiers.

In Judges 15:18 Samson thanks God.

The meaning of this story is that when the “Spirit of God” is on you there is nothing that you cannot do through the strength of God.

The lesson is when humans call God for help God does not forsake them if God wills. See Quran 8:65-8:66 below.

Quran 8:65 Koran 8:65 (God wants Prophet Muhammad to learn mercy and forgiveness by experiencing the fear and doubt of his men when it is revealed by God) O Prophet (Muhammad), encourage the believers to fight (with you the stone idol worshippers from Makkah). If there are twenty steadfast (men with you) they shall overcome two hundred (men), and if there are one hundred (steadfast men with you) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a people that do not understand (that all power lies with God the creator. The prophet understands this but God will show that the men of Prophet Muhammad do not fully understand this because many are new to the religion of God).

Quran 8:66 Koran 8:66 (In Quran 8:65 God willed for Prophet Muhammad to experience the fear and doubt of his men and God will now teach Prophet Muhammad that fear and doubt in men is removed not by a harsh response but by mercy and forgiveness when it is revealed by God who is the most merciful and the most kind that) now God has lightened your burden (to convince people that one man can defeat 10 men as revealed in Quran 8:65) because He (God) knows that there is a weakness (of fear and doubt) in you (to fight ten times your number). So (with mercy and kindness and forgiveness tell them) if you are one hundred steadfast (men) they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a thousand (steadfast men with you) they shall overcome two thousand by the permission of God. God is with the steadfast.

Video: Samson kills 1000 Philistines.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILQD5IZ0gjA

A. God made the Hebrews return to God through the hands of the Philistines in Judges 13:1.

Judges 13:1 And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord (God); and the Lord (God) delivered them (the children of Israel) into the hand of the Philistines for forty years.

B. God begins to save the Hebrews from the Philistines in Judges 13:2 - 13:6.

Judges 13:2 And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and did not bear (children).

Judges 13:3 And the angel of the Lord (God) appeared to the woman, and said to her: 'Behold now, you are barren, and have not borne (children); but you shall conceive, and bear a son.

Judges 13:4 Now therefore beware, I tell you, and drink no wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing.

Judges 13:5 For you shall conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head; for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.'

Judges 13:6 Then the woman came and told her husband, saying: 'A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome; and I did not ask him from where he came nor did he tell me his name.

C. God gave physical power for Samson to distress the Philistines in the same way God distressed the Midianites in Numbers 25:16 - 25:18.

The actions of Samson are the same actions God commanded in Numbers 25:16 - 25:18 so that the Israelites might be freed from the hand of the Philistines in Judges 13:5 as they were freed from the hand of the Midianites in Numbers 25:16 - 25:18.

Numbers 25:16 And the Lord (God) spoke to Moses, saying:

Numbers 25:17 'Distress (with hostility) the Midianites, and kill them;

Numbers 25:18 for they distressed you, by the plots that they made against you in the matter of (the idol worship of the god of) Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi their sister (which they gave for prostitution to entice you to stray away from God, she was), the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister (Cozbi), who was killed on the day of the plague (that had come) because of Peor. (When she was killed the plague that was killing the Hebrew people ceased).'

Judges 14:4 But his (Samson’s) father and his (Samson’s) mother did not know that it was from the LORD; who sought a pretense against the Philistines because at that time the Philistines ruled over Israel.

D. God punished the Philistines through Samson in Judges 16:21 - 16:30.

Quran 52:47 Koran 52:47 For those who do wrong, there is a punishment before that (Day of Resurrection and Judgement which is the punishment in this life). But most of them (the wrong doers) do not know (they may be punished in this life and in the hereafter).

Judges 16:21 And the Philistines laid hold on him (Samson), and put out his eyes; and they brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with chains of brass; and he did grind (wheat) in the prison-house.

Note 1. The eyes of Samson are removed by the the Philistines and Samson is taken prisoner.

Judges 16:23 And the lords of the Philistines gathered them together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their (idol) god, and to rejoice; for they said: 'Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.'

Note 1. The leaders of the Philistines thank their idol god for their capture of Samson.

Judges 16:24 And when the people saw him, they praised their god; for they said: 'Our god has delivered into our hand our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, who has killed many of us.'

Note 1. The Philistines people thank their idol god for their capture of Samson.

Judges 16:25 And it came to pass, when their hearts were happy, that they said: 'Call for Samson, so that he may make entertainment for us.' And they called for Samson out of the prison-house; and he made sport before them; and they set him between the pillars (that supported the building).

Note 1. The leaders and people of the Philistines thanked their god for their capture of Samson and make fun of Samson.

Judges 16:28 And Samson called to the Lord, and said: 'O Lord God, remember me, I pray to You, and strengthen me, I pray to You, only this once, O God, so that I may be this once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes (which they removed).'

Judges 16:30 And Samson said: 'Let me die with the Philistines.' And he bent with all his might (on the pillars supporting the building); and the house fell on the (Philistine) lords, and on all the (Philistine) people that were in there. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than they that he killed in his life.

Note 1. The punishment on the Philistines was not because they removed the eyes of Samson but is shown to be because of the evil behaviour of idol worship in Judges 16:23 by the Philistine leaders and Judges 16:24 by the Philistine people meaning there was not one innocent person who was killed since all the strength given to Samson came from God meaning what happened was the punishment of God through the hands of Samson.

Note 2. The wisdom God gave to Solomon is like the strength God gave to Samson meaning when they obeyed God they used their wisdom and strength as decreed by God.

When humans use their gifts wrongly it means they have disobeyed God.

Note 3. The punishment of God on the Philistine leaders and solders and people were delivered by God through the hands of Samson.

Note 4. When God makes punishments there are no mistakes.

Only humans make mistakes and errors and misunderstandings because human understanding is limited but the understanding of God is unlimited.

Quran 48:25 Koran 48:25 They (the stone idol worshippers of Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia) are the ones who disbelieved (in God) and turned you (Prophet Muhammad) away from the Sacred Mosque (“the Sacred Mosque” is l-masjidi l-harami, Al-Masjid Al-Haraam in Makkah) and your offerings (of 70 camels to God for the feeding of the poor which) were prevented from reaching their place of sacrifice. (You would have been allowed to enter Makkah and fight for the sake of God to worship God at God’s Sacred Mosque in Makkah) if it were not that there were believing men and believing women who you did not know that you may have trampled (with your offerings of 70 camels that would have killed both the believers who you did not know and the non believers because of a stampede by those animals caused by fighting that God knew would occur) and so unknowingly you would have an evil deed against you, (However God stopped you from entering Makkah) so that God might bring to His (God’s) mercy whom He (God) willed (by preventing you from making sin through your actions which would have killed innocent people). If they (the believers who you did not know and the wrongdoers who had sinned against God) had been apart (so that only the wrongdoers who had sinned against God were present) then We (God) would have punished those of them who disbelieved with a painful punishment (by allowing you into Makkah and allowing the animal stampede to occur to punish the stone idol worshippers who forbid your worship of God at the Sacred Mosque Al-Masjid Al-Haraam in Makkah).

Note 1. Do not harm innocent people.

Note 2. Do not harm innocent people together with wicked people.

Genesis 18:23 And Abraham Ibrahim came near and said "Will you (God) really sweep away the righteous (people) with the wicked (people)?

Genesis 18:24 If there are fifty innocent people in the city, will you destroy the whole city? Won't you spare it in order to save the fifty?

Genesis 18:25 Surely you won't kill the innocent with the guilty. That's impossible! You can't do that. If you did, the innocent would be punished along with the guilty. That is impossible. The judge of all the earth has to act justly.”

Genesis 18:26 The Lord answered, “If I find fifty innocent people in Sodom, I will spare the whole city for their sake.”

Genesis 18:27 Prophet Abraham Ibrahim spoke again: “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to speak to you, Lord. I am only a man and have no right to say anything.

Genesis 18:28 But perhaps there will be only forty-five innocent people instead of fifty. Will you destroy the whole city because there are five too few?”

The Lord answered, “I will not destroy the city if I find forty-five innocent people.”

Genesis 18:29 Prophet Abraham Ibrahim spoke again: “Perhaps there will be only forty.”

He replied, “I will not destroy it if there are forty.”

Genesis 18:30 Prophet Abraham Ibrahim said, “Please don't be angry, Lord, but I must speak again. What if there are only thirty?”

He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty.”

Genesis 18:31 Prophet Abraham Ibrahim said, “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to speak to you, Lord. Suppose that only twenty are found?”

He said, “I will not destroy the city if I find twenty.”

Genesis 18:32 Prophet Abraham Ibrahim said, “Please don't be angry, Lord, and I will speak only once more. What if only ten are found?”

He said, “I will not destroy it (the city) if there are ten (innocent people).”

Genesis 18:33 After he had finished speaking with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim, the Lord went away, and Prophet Abraham Ibrahim returned home.

Note 1. Do not harm innocent people.

Note 2. Do not harm innocent people together with wicked people.

King Dawud and murder explained.

Prophet David and murder explained.

Prophet Dawud and murder explained.

The Tanakh Jewish Scripture and the Quran confirm and explain each other in the story of King David Dawud.

The story of the sin of ewe the female sheep meaning adultery and the sin of murder is the teaching that God will forgive a person who is truly repentant like God forgave David.

The story of King David Dawud is that a person cannot be successful until they follow the guidance of God and remember God.

2 Samuel 12:1 And the LORD sent (Prophet) Nathan to (King) David. And he came to him, and said to him: “There were two men in one city: the one rich, and the other poor.

2 Samuel 12:2 The rich man had many many flocks and herds;

2 Samuel 12:3 but the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb (female sheep), which he had bought and reared; and it grew up together with him and with his children; it ate of his own bread and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him like a daughter.

2 Samuel 12:4 And there came a traveller to the rich man, and he did not take of his own flock and of his own herd to prepare (food) for the travelling man that had come to him, but took the poor man's lamb and prepared it (as food) for the man that had come to him.'

Quran 38:21 - 38:23 is about the sin of ewe meaning adultery and the sin of murder that was committed by King David Dawud.

Quran 38:21 - 38:23 shows that what is described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture always remained in the mind of King David Dawud in Psalm 51:5 (Psalm 51:3 in Christian Bible) and in Quran 38:21 - 38:23 as a reminder that guided him to righteousness.

Quran 38:21 Koran 38:21 And has the story of the (two) disputers reached you and how they climbed the wall into the chamber (of King David’s Dawud’s private mind into his conscience)?

Quran 38:22 Koran 38:22 How they (suddenly) entered (the chamber of his private mind into his conscience) and King David Dawud was afraid of them and they said, “Do not be afraid, (we have come for your help, we) two are arguing with each other because one has wronged the other so judge between us and show us the correct path.”

Quran 38:23 Koran 38:23 This is my brother (in religion who) has ninety nine ewes (female sheep which really represented the many wives that God had given to King David Dawud) but I have one ewe (female sheep meaning one wife which really represented Bath-sheba the wife of Uriah the Hittite) and he said, "Give it (the one ewe) to me (so that I can add your one female sheep to my 99 female sheep) and (the power of) his speech forced me to give it (my only female sheep)."

2 Samuel 12:5 And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan: 'As (surely as) the LORD lives, the man that has done this deserves to die;

2 Samuel 12:6 and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.'

Quran 38:24 is about the sin of ewe meaning adultery and the sin of murder that was committed by King David Dawud.

Quran 38:24 shows that what is described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture always remained in the mind of King David Dawud in Psalm 51:5 (Psalm 51:3 in Christian Bible) and in Quran 38:24 as a reminder that guided him to righteousness.

Quran 38:24 Koran 38:24 (King David Dawud) said, “He has done wrong by demanding your (one) ewe (female sheep) and adding it to his (ninety nine) ewes (female sheep). Many brothers (in religion) oppress one another except those who believe (in God) and do good deeds, and they are few. And then Prophet David Dawud understood that We (God) were telling (a story) about him (King David Dawud and what King David Dawud did to Uriah the Hittite and his wife Bath-sheba) and he (King David Dawud) asked forgiveness of his Lord (God) and he bowed (prostrating) and repented (to God for his sins).

2 Samuel 12:7 And Nathan said to David: You are the man. So said the LORD, the God of Israel: I anointed you (David) king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

2 Samuel 12:8 and I gave you (King David Dawud) your master's (King Saul’s) house, and your master's (King Saul’s) wives in your midst, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that were too little, then I would add to you like them and like them.

Note 1. King David Dawud had 6 wives so adding "like them (6) and like them (6)" would be 18 wives meaning 18 wives for a king is acceptable in the sight of God.

2 Samuel 12:9 For what have you despised the word of the LORD, to do that which is evil in My (God’s) sight? Uriah the Hittite you have killed with the sword, and his wife you have taken to be your wife, and him (Uriah the Hittite) you have killed with the sword of the children of Ammon.

2 Samuel 12:10 Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house; because you have despised Me (God), and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.

2 Samuel 12:11 So said the LORD: Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house, and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbour, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun (for all the people to see).

2 Samuel 12:12 For you did it (sinned) secretly (from the eyes of the people); but I (God) will do this thing in front of all (the people of) Israel, and before the sun (for all the people to see).'

Note 1. God gave judgements before God forgives the sins of David.

2 Samuel 12:13 And King David said to Prophet Nathan: 'I have sinned against the LORD.' And Nathan said to David: 'The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

Note 1. God forgives the sins of David.

2 Samuel 12:14 However, because by this deed you (David) have greatly blasphemed (opened the mouth of) the enemies of the LORD (because this scandal has become known to all the people), the child also that is born to you (David through Bathsheba) shall surely die' (so that everyone who does not know you are forgiven does not think there is no consequence for wicked behaviour).

Note 1. God gave judgements in 2 Samuel 12:10 - 12:12 and then forgives the sins of David in 2 Samuel 12:13 and then explains in 2 Samuel 12:14 why God decreed judgements before forgiving the sins of David.

Note 2. When God forgave Prophet David Dawud why did God say his child would die?

Answer: When God forgives the sin of any person the consequences of that sin on the earth remain as a warning for humans not to repeat that sin.

If sin was forgiven and there were no consequences on the earth then humans would not learn to avoid wrong doing.

2 Samuel 12:15 And Nathan departed to his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bore to David, and it was very sick.

2 Samuel 12:16 David therefore asked (help from) God on behalf of the child; and David fasted, and went in (the house) and slept on the ground.

2 Samuel 12:17 And the elders of his house arose, and stood beside him, to raise him up from the earth; but he (David) would not (stand), neither did he eat bread with them.

2 Samuel 12:18 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him (David) that the child was dead; for they said: 'Behold, while the child was yet alive we spoke to him and he did not listen to our voice; how then shall we tell him that the child is dead, so that he (does not) do himself some harm?'

2 Samuel 12:19 But when David saw that his servants whispered together, David perceived that the child was dead; and David said to his servants: 'Is the child dead?' And they said: 'He is dead.'

2 Samuel 12:20 Then David arose from the ground, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his clothing; and he came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped; then he came to his own house; and when he required (food), they set bread before him, and he did eat.

2 Samuel 12:21 Then his servants said to him (David): 'What thing is this that you have done? You did fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, you did rise and eat bread.'

2 Samuel 12:22 And he (David) said: 'While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said: Who knows whether the LORD (God) will not be gracious to me, so that the child may live?

2 Samuel 12:23 But now he is dead so for what should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him (in heaven) but he (the child) will not return to me (on the earth).'

2 Samuel 12:24 And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went to her, and lay with her; and she bore a son, and called his name Solomon. And the LORD (God) loved him;

2 Samuel 12:25 and He (God) sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet (a name for Solomon), and he (David) called his name Jedidiah, for the LORD'S sake (who loved him as said in 2 Samuel 12:24 and as named by God through Prophet Nathan).

Psalm 51:1 For the Leader. A Psalm of David;

Psalm 51:2 When Nathan the prophet came to him (King David Dawud), after he had gone to Bathsheba (the wife of Uriah the Hittite).

Psalm 51:3 (Psalm 51:1 in Christian Bible) Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your kindness; according to Your great mercy remove my wrong doings.

Psalm 51:4 (Psalm 51:2 in Christian Bible) Wash me thoroughly of my wickedness, and clean me from my sin.

Psalm 51:5 (Psalm 51:3 in Christian Bible) For I know my wrong doing; and my sin (that I did) is always in front of me (in my mind).

Note 1. Quran 38:21 - 38:24 is about the sin of ewe meaning adultery and the sin of murder that was committed by King David Dawud.

Quran 38:21 - 38:24 shows that what is described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture always remained in the mind of King David Dawud in Psalm 51:5 (Psalm 51:3 in Christian Bible) and in Quran 38:21 - 38:24 as a reminder that guided him to righteousness.

Psalm 51:6 (Psalm 51:4 in Christian Bible) Against You (God) alone I (David) have sinned, and done what is evil in Your (God’s) sight; so that You (God) may be justified (understood) in Your conduct (of forgiving sin when a person repents), and right in Your judgment (so that no person might think you will not forgive a person who is truly repentant like you forgave me).

Note 1. The story of the sin of ewe the female sheep meaning adultery and the sin of murder is the teaching that God will forgive a person who is truly repentant like God forgave David.

Note 2. Forgiveness for all sins including adultery is in Quran 3:135 – 3:136, 4:17 – 4:18, 4:110, 25:68 – 25:71.

Psalm 51:7 (in Tanakh or Psalm 51:5 in Christian bible) Behold, I (the messiah king David) was brought forth (as a baby) in wrong doing (because a baby does not know right from wrong), and in sin (as a baby) did my mother conceive me (because a baby does not know right from wrong).

Note 1. Explain Genesis 8:21

Genesis 8:21 ”… and the LORD said in His heart: 'I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth (meaning when he is born as a baby because a baby does not know right from wrong) …”

Psalm 51:8 (Psalm 51:6 in Christian Bible) Behold, You (God) desired that truth be in the hidden places (like the heart, like the mind); and in the hidden part You teach me wisdom (to admit my sins to You).

Psalm 51:9 (Psalm 51:7 in Christian Bible) Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean (of sin); wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow (without sin).

Psalm 51:10 (Psalm 51:8 in Christian Bible) Make me to hear joy and gladness (through Your forgiveness of my sins); that the bones which You have crushed (when my sins made You angry) may rejoice.

Psalm 51:11 (Psalm 51:9 in Christian Bible) Hide Your face from my sins, and remove all my wrong doings.

Psalm 51:12 (Psalm 51:10 in Christian Bible) Create for me a clean heart (without sin), O God; and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Psalm 51:13 (Psalm 51:11 in Christian Bible) Cast me not away from Your presence; and take not Your holy spirit from me.

Psalm 51:14 (Psalm 51:12 in Christian Bible) Restore to me the joy of Your salvation; and let a willing spirit uphold me.

Psalm 51:15 (Psalm 51:13 in Christian Bible) Then I will teach Your ways to the wrong doers; and sinners shall return to You.

Psalm 51:16 (Psalm 51:14 in Christian Bible) Save me from blood (so that I do not die by the sword as punishment for killing Uriah), O God, the God of my salvation; let my tongue sing in praise of Your charity (in forgiving me).

Psalm 51:17 (Psalm 51:15 in Christian Bible) O Lord, open my lips; and my mouth shall declare Your praise.

Psalm 51:18 (Psalm 51:16 in Christian Bible) For You do not delight in sacrifice (when a person who everyone knows did a deliberate sin), otherwise I would give it; You have no pleasure in burnt-offering (instead this is what you want) -

Psalm 51:19 (Psalm 51:17 in Christian Bible) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; O God, you wilt not despise a broken and crushed heart..

Psalm 51:20 (Psalm 51:18 in Christian Bible) By Your favour do good to Zion (when Solomon will build Your Temple); build the walls of Jerusalem.

Psalm 51:21 (Psalm 51:19 in Christian Bible) Then You will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness (when righteous people bring sacrifices of thanks to You), in burnt-offering and whole offering; then will they offer bullocks on Your altar (in the Temple which will be built by Solomon).

In Genesis 38:25 - 38:26 Judah admits his sin with Tamar through which children were born which would result in the birth of David in later generations who would also admit his sin meaning through the sin of Judah who admitted his sin instead of hiding his sin or blaming Tamar for his sin would be born another person like Judah and Tamar called David who was with Bathsheba and who would also admit his sin instead of hiding his sin or blaming Bathsheba for his sin.

The sin of ewe the female sheep.

Zabur Psalm of David when the prophet Nathan came to David after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

Note 1. Prophet David Dawud asked God to forgive his sins which are described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture and God forgave him to teach humans that God will forgive sin when humans repent to God.

Note 2. God forgave Prophet David Dawud like God forgave Prophet Solomon Sulaiman when he asked God to forgive his sins which are described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture and God forgave him to teach humans that God will forgive sin when humans repent to God.

Quran 38:25 Koran 38:25 So We (God) forgave him (King David Dawud) that (sin) and he is near to Us (near to God’s mercy and God’s love) and a happy place of return (is for him to God and to Paradise Jannah in the hereafter).

Quran 38:34 Koran 38:34 And certainly We (God) tried (tested) Prophet Solomon Sulaiman (with wives and horses which he loved), and (then told him the future that) We (God after his death) placed on his throne a body (his son Rehoboam and that the kingdom of his son would be divided into half in 1 Kings 11:11 - 11:13 which is fulfilled in 1 Kings 11:31 - 11:32 and 1 Kings 11:35 - 11:36); then he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) turned (in repentance to God).

Quran 38:40 Koran 38:40 And he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) is near to Us (God’s mercy) and a happy place of return (to God and Paradise).

Note 3. The Quran tells us that the sins of Prophet David Dawud were forgiven in the same way as the sins of Adam and Eve were forgiven.

Quran 2:37 Koran 2:37 Then Adam received from his Lord words (of guidance) and his Lord (God) forgave him. Truly God is the One who forgives and He (God) is the Most Merciful.

Note 4. The Quran tells us that the sins of Prophet David Dawud were forgiven in the same way as the sins of Prophet Moses Musa were forgiven.

Quran 28:16 Koran 28:16 He (Prophet Moses Musa) said, “My Lord (God), I have wronged my self so forgive me,” and so He (God) forgave him. He (God) is forgiving and merciful.

Quran 26:14 Koran 26:14 “And they (the Egyptians) have a crime (of murder charged) against me, so I (Prophet Moses Musa) fear that they shall kill me.”

Quran 26:20 Koran 26:20 He (Prophet Moses Musa) said, “I did it (murder) then, when I was misguided (by the whispering of Satan Shaitan).

Quran 26:21 Koran 26:21 So I (Prophet Moses Musa) fled from you in fear. Then my Lord (God) granted me knowledge (in wisdom and judgement) and appointed me (as one) of the messengers (of God).

Note 5. The Quran and Tanakh Jewish Scripture teach in the story of Adam and Eve and Prophet Moses Musa and Prophet David Dawud and Prophet Solomon Sulaiman that when a human repents for any sin it is completely forgiven.

Note 6. When God forgave Prophet David Dawud why did God cause his son to die?

Answer: When God forgives the sin of any person the consequences of that sin on the earth remain as a warning for humans not to repeat that sin.

If sin was forgiven and there were no consequences on the earth then humans would not learn to avoid wrong doing.

Note 7. The stories of the prophets teach that they are humans who make the same errors as all other humans as a warning not to idol worship the prophets of God but to learn from their repentance to God that God forgives all human sin.

Note 8. The Quran focuses on the righteousness of the prophets to teach righteous behaviour and uses the stone idol worshippers in Makkah as the example of bad behaviour.

Note 9. The Tanakh Jewish Scripture focuses on the success and the errors of the prophets to show that God forgives all sins and to warn against idol worshipping the prophets of God.

Note 10. The Tanakh Jewish Scripture and the Quran confirm and explain each other.

Moses Musa sinned by killing a man and the messiah king David sinned by adultery (represented in the story of a man who had one female sheep in the sin of ewe, the sin involving a female) and murder (represented in the story by another man who caused to die something that did not belong to him in the sin of ewe, the sin involving a female) and the messiah king Solomon sinned by marriage to foreign wives who brought idol worship to Israel so that every human who comes after them can know that when you repent and correct your behaviour God will forgive all your sins without a blood sacrifice in Psalm 32:5, Psalm 51:17 - 51:19 in Tanakh or Psalm 51:15 - 51:17 in a Christian Bible, 1 Kings 8:46 - 8:50, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Proverbs 24:16, Ezekiel 18:20 - 18:23, Isaiah 1:18, Isaiah 55:7, Hosea 6:6, Hosea 14:2 - 14:3 and Micah 6:6 - 6:8.

Video 3: Rabbi Tovia Singer demonstrates that the Christian Scriptures tampered with the Jewish Scriptures (David and the sin of ewe).

The Christian Septuagint Bible put Jesus in the Jewish Scripture by deleting “my ear You have opened” in Psalm 40:6 and replacing it with “a body You have prepared for me.”

The Christian Septuagint Bible and the Christian Book of Hebrews contain a common error in translating Psalm 40:6.

Prophet Solomon Sulaiman and wisdom explained.

Prophet Sulaiman and wisdom explained.

The Tanakh Jewish Scripture and the Quran confirm and explain each other in the story of King Solomon Sulaiman.

Deuteronomy 17:16 – 17:17 commands that when Kings are established in Canaan today in Israel and Palestine they are not to keep increasing the number of horses for themselves because horses come from Egypt and God told the Hebrews not to return to Egypt in case they become distracted from God with idol worship and not to keep increasing the number wives for themselves in case their heart is turned away from God and not to keep increasing gold and silver for themselves instead of remembering God.

The story of the sin of disobeying the laws of God which lead to idol worship is the teaching that God will forgive a person who is truly repentant like God forgave Solomon.

The story of King Solomon Sulaiman is that the wisest person in the world cannot be successful until they remember God and follow the guidance of God.

1 Kings 11:1 Now king Solomon loved many foreign women, besides the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

Note 1. In the Quran Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:1.

Quran 38:32 Koran 38:32 And he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) said, “I preferred the love of good things over the remembrance of my Lord …”

1 Kings 11:2 of the nations concerning which the LORD said to the children of Israel: 'You shall not go among them, neither shall they come among you; for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods'; Solomon did hold on to these in love.

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:2.

1 Kings 11:3 And he (King Solomon Sulaiman) had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:3.

Note 2. King David Dawud had 6 wives so adding "like them (6) and like them (6)" would be 18 wives meaning 18 wives for a king is acceptable in the sight of God.

2 Samuel 12:8 and I gave you (King David Dawud) your master's (King Saul’s) house, and your master's (King Saul’s) wives in your midst, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that were too little, then I would add to you like them and like them.

1 Kings 11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not whole with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.

Note 1. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

By marrying idol worshipping wives which God warned against in 1 Kings 11:2 King Solomon had brought idol worship into Israel.

Note 2. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:4.

1 Kings 11:5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the detestation of the Ammonites.

Note 1. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

By marrying idol worshipping wives which God warned against in 1 Kings 11:2 King Solomon had brought idol worship into Israel.

Note 2. When Solomon became old in age in 1 Kings 11:4 - 11:6 some of his wives took advantage of him and they began to more openly worship idol gods which they had known before the time they married King Solomon.

This happened when King Solomon’s mind was that of an old man and he lost his control over some of his younger wives.

Note 3. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:5.

1 Kings 11:6 And Solomon did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:6.

Note 2. By marrying idol worshipping wives which God warned against in 1 Kings 11:2 King Solomon had brought idol worship into Israel.

1 Kings 11:7 Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh the detestation of Moab, in the mount that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech the detestation of the children of Ammon.

Note 1. When Solomon became old in age some of his wives took advantage of him and they began to more openly worship idol gods which they had known before the time they married King Solomon.

This happened when King Solomon’s mind was that of an old man and he lost his control over some of his younger wives.

Note 2. Prophet Job was also tested by his wife.

Job 2:9 Then his wife said to him (Job), "Do you still maintain your sincerity (to God)? Blaspheme God and die!"

Job 2:10 And he (Job) said to her, "You talk as one of the disgraceful women talks. Shall we also accept the good from God, and not accept the evil?" Despite all this, Job did not sin with his lips

Note 3. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

Note 4. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:7.

1 Kings 11:8 And so did he (Solomon in his old age did not stop the building of altars to idol gods) for all his foreign wives, who offered and sacrificed to their gods.

Note 1. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

Note 2. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:8.

Note 3. King Solomon is held responsible for what his wives did because King Solomon did not heed the warning in 1 Kings 11:2 that marriage with idol worshipping wives will turn men to idol worship.

This story teaches that even King Solomon who was the wisest man on earth could not control everything in the world meaning even the wisest man must follow the guidance of God.

Note 4. King Solomon thought that his wisdom was so great that marriage with the daughters of every nation would be no problem for him and through it would achieve peace for his Kingdom to allow him to build the first temple of God in Jerusalem.

Note 5. This story of King Solomon teaches that no wisdom is greater than the guidance of God.

1 Kings 11:9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:9.

1 Kings 11:10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:10.

Note 2. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

Note 3. This story shows how King Solomon who was the wisest of men lost control over some of the people around him in his old age.

Note 4. This story is a reminder that every person who enters old age no matter how wise they are will loose control over some people.

Note 5. The Quran describes other times when Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God.

Quran 38:31 Koran 38:31 (Mention) the afternoon when he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) was shown excellent racing horses.

Quran 38:32 Koran 38:32 And he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) said, “I preferred the love of good things (like my horses in this world) over the remembrance of my Lord (God, and I would watch them) until they (the horses) disappeared into the distance.”

Quran 38:33 Koran 38:33 (Then I would say) "return them (horses) to me." Then he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) began (with love) to stroke their legs and their necks.

1 Kings 11:11 Therefore the LORD said to Solomon: 'Since this has been your practice, and you have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom (of Israel) from you, and will give it to your servant.

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:11.

Note 2. This story is a reminder that no amount of wisdom can help the person who forgets to remember God.

1 Kings 11:12 But I will not do it in your days (during your lifetime), for David your father's sake; but I will tear it (your Kingdom) out of the hand of your son.

Note 1. 1 Kings 11:1 - 11:11 explains why God decreed that the kingdom of Israel would be divided after the death of King Solomon as a reminder that no matter how wise a human maybe they can never control everything that happens around them and after them.

Note 2. The purpose of the story of King Solomon is as a reminder to always remember God and this is confirmed in the Quran.

Quran 38:32 Koran 38:32 And he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) said, “I preferred the love of good things over the remembrance of my Lord …”

Quran 38:34 Koran 38:34 ”… then he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) turned (in repentance to God).

1 Kings 11:13 However I will not tear away all the kingdom; but I will give one tribe (Judah) to your son (Rehoboam); for David My servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.'

Note 1. Quran 38:34 describes the prophecy given by God to King Solomon in 1 Kings 11:11 - 11:13 which is fulfilled in 1 Kings 11:31 - 11:32 and 1 Kings 11:35 - 11:36.

1 Kings 11:31 And he said to Jeroboam: 'You take ten pieces (the land of the 10 tribes of Israel known as the Northern Kingdom of Israel); for the LORD, the God of Israel said: Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to you (Jeroboam).

Note 1. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

Note 2. Idol worship in the United Kingdom of Israel by some of the wives of King Solomon is the reason God divided the Kingdom of Solomon after his death to teach that there are serious consequences associated with the worship of idols.

Note 3. After the death of King Solomon God gave a servant of Solomon named Jeroboam the Northern Kingdom of Israel meaning God took away the Northern Kingdom of Israel from Rehoboam who was the son of Solomon.

1 Kings 11:32 but he shall have one tribe (the tribe of Judah known as the southern Kingdom of Judah), for My servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel -

Note 1. After the death of King Solomon God honoured His promise to King David that Kings would come through him by not taking everything away from Rehoboam who was the son of King Solomon.

Note 2. Rehoboam who was the son of King Solomon ruled over the southern kingdom of Judah whose capital was Jerusalem.

Note 3. Quran 38:34 describes the prophecy given by God to King Solomon in 1 Kings 11:11 - 11:13 which is fulfilled in 1 Kings 11:31 - 11:32 and 1 Kings 11:35 - 11:36.

1 Kings 11:33 because they have forsaken Me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of Moab, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon; and they have not walked in My ways, to do that which is right in My eyes, and to keep My statutes and Mine ordinances, as did David his father.

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:33.

Note 2. King Solomon never worshipped idols but some of his wives brought idol worship to Israel.

Note 3. The Torah says do not worship other gods.

When King Solomon became old in age some of his wives took advantage of him and they began to more openly worship idol gods which they had known before the time they married King Solomon.

This happened when King Solomon’s mind was that of an old man and he lost his control over some of his younger wives.

1 Kings 11:34 However I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand; but I will make him prince all the days of his life, for David My servant's sake, whom I chose, because he (King David) kept My commandments and My statutes;

Note 1. In Quran 38:32 Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said he did the things he loved above the remembrance of God and this is explained in 1 Kings 11:34.

Note 2. God compares King David to King Solomon to teach humans that no amount of wisdom is better than following the guidance of God.

1 Kings 11:35 but I will take the kingdom out of his (King Solomon’s) son's (Rehoboam) hand, and will give it to you (Jeroboam ), the ten tribes.

1 Kings 11:36 And to his (King Solomon Sulaiman’s) son (Rehoboam) I (God) will give one tribe (Judah), so that David My servant may have a lamp (kingdom) before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for Myself to place My name there.

Note 1. Quran 38:34 describes the prophecy given by God to King Solomon in 1 Kings 11:11 - 11:13 which is fulfilled in 1 Kings 11:31 - 11:32 and 1 Kings 11:35 - 11:36.

1 Kings 11:37 And I will take you, and you (King Solomon Sulaiman) shall reign over all that your soul desires, and shall be king over Israel.

1 Kings 11:38 And it shall be, if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in My ways, and do that which is right in My eyes, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as David My servant did, that I will be with you, and will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.

1 Kings 11:39 And for this (sin) I will afflict the seed (descendants) of David, but not forever (meaning in future an anointed messiah who is a descendant from the messiah anointed King David Dawud through the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman will unite Israel and world peace will replace affliction and trouble).'

1 Kings 11:40 Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam; but Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.

1 Kings 11:41 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the words of Solomon (in Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs called the Song of Solomon)?

1 Kings 11:42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.

1 Kings 11:43 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father; and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

Quran 38:30 Koran 38:30 And We (God) gave to Prophet David Dawud, (a son) Prophet Solomon Sulaiman. How excellent a servant, he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) was always turning in repentance (to God).

Note 1. Prophet Solomon Sulaiman was always turning in repentance to ask God to forgive his sins which are described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture.

Note 2. The Quran tells us that the sins of Prophet Solomon Sulaiman were forgiven in the same way as the sins of Adam and Eve were forgiven.

Quran 2:37 Koran 2:37 Then Adam received from his Lord words (of guidance) and his Lord (God) forgave him. Truly God is the One who forgives and He (God) is the Most Merciful.

Note 3. The Quran tells us that the sins of Prophet Solomon Sulaiman were forgiven in the same way as the sins of King David were forgiven.

Quran 38:25 Koran 38:25 So We (God) forgave him (King David Dawud) and he is near to Us (God’s mercy) and (for David Dawud there is) a happy place of return (to God and Paradise).

Note 4. The Quran and Tanakh Jewish Scripture teach in the story of Adam and Eve and Prophet David Dawud and Prophet Solomon Sulaiman that when a human repents for any sin it is completely forgiven.

Note 1. Prophet Solomon Sulaiman asked God to forgive his sins which are described in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture and God forgave him to teach humans that God will forgive sin when humans repent to God.

Quran 38:35 Koran 38:35 He (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) said, “My Lord (God ), Forgive me and (God forgive him and asked what he wanted so Prophet Solomon Sulaiman said) grant me a kingdom that shall (be guided by such great wisdom and justice that the likes of it shall) not belong to anyone after me (and this is why throughout history Prophet Solomon Sulaiman is known for his great wisdom and justice). You (God) are the giver (of everything that exists).”

Quran 38:40 Koran 38:40 And he (Prophet Solomon Sulaiman) is near to Us (God’s mercy) and a happy place of return (to God and Paradise).

Note 4. The Quran tells us that the sins of Prophet Solomon Sulaiman were forgiven in the same way as the sins of Prophet Moses Musa were forgiven.

Note 6. When God forgave Prophet Solomon Sulaiman why did God tear away half of his kingdom after his death and only give the kingdom of Judah to his descendant?

5. 1 Kings 19:14 and 1 Kings 19:18 explained.

Prophet Elijah said he was the last righteous person in Israel in 1 Kings 19:14 and there are 7000 righteous in Israel in 1 Kings 19:18 explained.

1 Kings 19:14 And he (Prophet Elijah) said: 'I have been very jealous for the LORD, the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, thrown down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword; and only I am left; and they seek to take my life away.

Note 1. Prophet Elijah thought he was the last of the righteous.

1 Kings 19:18 Yet will I (God) leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal (the idol), and every mouth which has not kissed him (the idol Baal).'

Note 1. God tells Prophet Elijah there are 7000 righteous in Israel.

6. 1 Kings 22:22 explained.

1 King 22:8 - 22:23 explained.

A lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets explained.

In 1 King 22:8 King Jehoshaphat of Judah and In 1 King 22:26 - 22:27 King Ahab of Israel both do not like Prophet Micaiah the son of Imlah because he gives bad news to them.

In 1 King 22:10 - 22:13 when Prophet Micaiah is taken to both kings he is told to agree with the 400 (false) prophets who say the king will be successful in battle.

In 1 Kings 22:14 Prophet Micaiah answers "he will say what God has told him."

In 1 Kings 22:15 when the king asks Prophet Micaiah if he will be successful in battle the prophet says yes meaning this is what God has told Prophet Micaiah to say.

In 1 Kings 22:16 the king does not believe this answer because Prophet Micaiah always brings bad news to him and asks Prophet Micaiah for the truth.

In 1 Kings 22:17 Prophet Micaiah tells the king that he will not be successful.

In 1 Kings 22:18 King Jehoshaphat says to King Ahab “I said Prophet Micaiah would not prophecy good but evil concerning me” meaning when Prophet Micaiah lied the king knew it was a lie and when Prophet Micaiah told the truth the king knew the prophet was truthful but the king never accepted revelations from the truthful prophet because the king only accepted what he wanted to hear meaning the king heard the truthful message from God but the king near accepted the truthful message from God meaning the king only accepted false messages from false prophets because he was an evil and arrogant king.

In 1 Kings 22:19 - 22:23 Prophet Micaiah tells the kings what God decreed by putting a lying spirit in the mouth of his 400 (false) prophets who would encourage King Ahab to go to battle and fail meaning God will punish in his lifetime the evil done by King Ahab in this world as a lesson for those who lived in his time and after his time.

1 Kings 22:20 And the LORD said: Who shall entice Ahab so that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead. And one (spirit, angel) said this way and another (spirit, angel) said in that way.

Note 1. The punishment of God which is decreed in this world for evil people.

1 Kings 22:21 And there came forth a certain spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said: I will entice him.

Note 1. The punishment of God which is decreed in this world for evil people.

1 Kings 22:22 And the LORD said to him (the spirit, the angel): How? And he (the spirit, the angel) said: I (the spirit, the angel) will go and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his (400 false) prophets. And He (God) said: You (the spirit, the angel) shall entice him (King Ahab to go to battle), and shall be successful, so go and do so.

Note 1. The punishment of God which is decreed in this world for evil people.

Prophet Micaiah the son of Imlah warned the evil King Ahab in 1 Kings 22:20 - 22:22 about his 400 (false) prophets like God warned people to avoid evil through the angels of God in Quran 2:102.

Quran 2:102 Koran 2:102 And they (some of the Jews of Yathrib in Arabia today in Medina Saudi Arabia) believe what the evil ones said about the special powers of Prophet Solomon Suleiman during the time of his kingdom (they said Solomon's power was magic from evil ones as is written in Jewish rabbinic literature). (The truth is) Prophet Solomon Suleiman had faith (and all his powers were from God). It was the evil ones who were disbelievers who taught magic that had been revealed to Angel Harut and Angel Marut in Babylon. These Angels (when they taught the first humans this knowledge) first said “We are a test for your faith, do not disbelieve in God (by learning magic from us) and to those who disbelieved they taught the magic that caused dispute between husband and wife and caused harm only with God’s permission. They (the disbelievers) learned what harmed them (by learning what was evil) and not what profited them (by having faith in God and doing what was good) and they knew (because they were warned) that buyers of it (magic) would have no happiness in the Hereafter. If they only knew how terrible the price was (for learning the magic of doing evil) for which they sold their souls (for a place in fire in the hereafter).

7. Isaiah 7:20 explained.

Isaiah 7:20 In that day the Lord (God) shall shave (slay) with a great razor (sword, those who live) on the other side of the river, on the king of Assyria, the head (King Sennacherib) and the hair of the legs (his supporters); and also the beard (his authority) will be completely removed (meaning God will remove the threat made by King Sennacherib of Assyria to take Jerusalem as God promised in Isaiah 7:1 - 7:19).

8. Isaiah 36:12 explained.

Eat their own dung and to drink their own urine explained.

Isaiah 36:12 But Rabshakeh (the officer representing Sennacherib the King of Assyria) said: 'Has my master (the King of Assyria) sent me to your master (the King of Judah), and to you (the representatives of the King of Judah), to speak these words? Has he (the King of Assyria) not sent me to (speak to) the (Hebrew) men that sit on the wall (surrounding Jerusalem, and speak these words in Hebrew to them warning that our Army will blockade Jerusalem and that they will have) to eat their own dung and to drink their own urine with you (if you do not give Jerusalem to us)?

9. Jeremiah 5:30 - 5:31 explained. Jeremiah 8:8 - 8:9 explained.

Lying pen of scribes explained.

Quran 10:64 Koran 10:64 “There is no change in the Words of God…”

However sometimes verses are misunderstood.

Jeremiah 5:30 An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land:

Jeremiah 5:31 The (false) prophets have given false prophesies (claiming God is giving messages to them in their dreams saying if you fight the King of Babylon you will be successful), and the priests rule by what they (the false prophets are claiming); and My people love to have it so; what then will you do in the end (when you find their false prophesies were opposite to what Jeremiah told you)?

Jeremiah 8:8 (Jeremiah who is a true prophet from God says) How do you (the false prophets who claim God is giving messages to them in their dreams) say: 'We are wise, and the Law of the LORD is with us? (and the Temple in Jerusalem is with us and God has told us in our dreams that God is with us so let us fight the King of Babylon instead of paying taxes to him). Certainly it (the wisdom within the false prophets) is in vain, he (the false prophets) made a false scribe’s pen (putting writing on the walls of Jerusalem claiming God will be with us if we fight the King of Babylon but these are dreams from themselves and not a message from God).

Note 1. The result of following false prophets instead of following Jeremiah a true prophet was the destruction by the King of Babylon of the Temple of Solomon Sulaiman which was the First Temple in Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 8:9 The “wise” men (meaning the false prophets who claimed they were wise following messages they received in dreams from God) were ashamed (of rejecting the words of God delivered to them by Jeremiah), they were dismayed (when their prophecies failed) and taken (by the King of Babylon who destroyed the First Temple in Jerusalem); Certainly they have rejected the word of the Lord (God which Jeremiah delivered to them saying those dreams telling you to tell the people to fight the King of Babylon instead of pay his taxes come from within yourselves and not from God); and what wisdom is in them (now that their prophecies have failed)?

10. Ezekiel 4:12 explained.

Eat it as barley cakes and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that came out of man explained.

Ezekiel chapter 4 explains the reason for the destruction of the first temple and is a prophecy about the siege of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.

Ezekiel 4:7 And you shall direct your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered (like a fighting man representing King Nebuchadnezzar); and you shall prophecy about it (the siege of Jerusalem).

Ezekiel 4:12 And (during the seize of Jerusalem) you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that came out of man (by using the dried dung of humans as the fuel for the fire for the baking of barley cakes because no one will be able to go outside Jerusalem to collect wood to make fires for cooking during the seize of Jerusalem).'

11. Ezekiel 16:15 - 16:41 explained.

Ezekiel 23:1 - 23:49 explained.

Ezekiel 43:6 - 43:10 explained.

Hosea 4:15 explained.

Hosea 4:17 explained.

The story of the two sisters in Ezekiel 23.

Qholah represents Samaria in the Northern kingdom of Israel and Oholibah represents Jerusalem in the southern kingdom of Judah.

Both Qholah (Samaria) and Oholibah (Jerusalem) represent the wives of God meaning they represent people who are married to God because they promised to believe in no other God however they are accused of "playing the harlot" in Egypt meaning they are accused of adultery against God by their idol worship which they did against their husband who is God which God describes as prostitution.

The purpose of the shocking words which God uses is to let the reader understand how great is the betrayal of people who are married to God when they commit adultery against God by worshiping other gods.

Ezekiel 23:1 And the word of the LORD came to me (Prophet Ezekiel Zulkifl), saying:

Ezekiel 23:2 'Son of man (Prophet Ezekiel Zulkifl), there were two women (who are represented when one nation is divided into two nations called the Northern kingdom of Israel and the Southern kingdom of Judah after the death of King Solomon), the daughters of one mother (who represents the one nation called the Kingdom of Israel in the time of King David and King Solomon);

Ezekiel 23:3 and they committed harlotries in Egypt; they committed harlotries in their youth; there were their bosoms pressed, and there their virgin breasts were bruised (meaning they committed adultery against God by turning to idol worship).

Ezekiel 23:4 And the names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister; and they became Mine (meaning they promised to believe in no other God but God), and they bore sons and daughters (children). And as for their names, Samaria is Oholah (who represents the Northern kingdom of Israel), and Jerusalem Oholibah (who represents the Southern kingdom of Judah).

Harlot prostitution and disgusting language in Ezekiel explained.

When Israel turns to idol worship it means Israel is committing adultery against God.

The disguising language in Ezekiel explains how low Israel had descended so that the exiled children of Israel could understand why God destroyed the first Temple in Jerusalem and exiled them to Babylon.

Without this disguising language you would not know how low the children of Israel had fallen.

Note that whenever Israel sins there are always a righteous remnant in every generation meaning God never means all the children of Israel sinned.

Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker (God) is your husband (meaning Israel be faithful to God like a wife is faithful to her husband) …”

Ezekiel 16:32 You (Israel are) the adulterous wife that takes strangers (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known in Deuteronomy 13:7 - 13:9 or Deuteronomy 13:6 - 13:8 in Christian bible) instead of your husband (God).

Note 1. Whenever Israel worships a God that was unknown to them or to their fathers it means Israel committed adultery.

The meaning is that the nature of God will never change so beware of any claim that the nature of God is different to how it was first revealed in the Torah.

For Israel to worship a God whose nature is different to God in the Torah is called adultery meaning the nature of God in the Torah will never change.

To worship any created thing as God or part of God or as a partner with God is called idol worship.

Isaiah 50:1 The Lord (God) said (to some Jewish people who did not repent because they claimed God had divorced them and sold them meaning they claimed God abandoned them or God exiled them so God asks these questions as proof God has not abandoned them). "Where is the bill of divorce of your mother through which I (God) put her away?" (God did not give a bill of divorce to the children of Israel in the southern kingdom of Judah but saved the Jewish people in Hosea 1:7 honouring the promise that the house of David will exist as a people forever in 2 Samuel 7:12 - 7:16 as proof God does not change His promises and covenant agreements which are confirmed between God and the Jewish people forever in Isaiah 59:21. In Jeremiah 3:8 God gave the northern kingdom of Israel a bill of divorce and said this anger of God will not be forever in Jeremiah 3:12 for whoever repents by admitting their guilt in Jeremiah 3:13 like King David who admitted his guilt of adultery and murder and was forgiven his sins by the mercy of God. In Jeremiah 3:14 is the promise of God to bring the exiled children of the northern kingdom of Israel back to Zion (Israel). God temporarily took His mercy away from the children of Israel in the northern kingdom of Israel in Hosea 1:6).Or which of My creditors is it to whom I (God) have sold you (the Jewish people)?” It is for your (the southern kingdom of Judah’s) wrong doing you were sold (temporarily in exile as a punishment so that you might repent to God and correct your behaviour and not because God abandoned you for payment), and for your transgressions (wrong doing) was your mother put away (temporarily exiled as punishment so that you might repent to God and correct your behaviour and not because God abandoned you with a bill of divorce of which none was given to the Jewish people who lived in the southern kingdom of Judah. In Isaiah 51 God calls everyone who seeks righteousness Ecclesiastes 7:20, Proverbs 24:16, Ezekiel 18:22 – 18:23, Isaiah 1:18, Isaiah 55:7, Hosea 14:2 – 14:3 and Micah 6:6 – 6:8 as proof God has not abandoned the Jewish people. In Isaiah 52 and Isaiah 53 is the past and present and future of the Jewish people as proof God has not abandoned the Jewish people https://sites.google.com/view/islamandthekoran/isaiah-53-explained  ).

Deuteronomy 13:7 - 13:9 (Deuteronomy 13:6 - 13:8 in Christian bible) “… (if anyone says to you): “Let us go and worship other gods,” (gods) that neither you nor your fathers have known … do not consent to them or listen to them …”

Play the harlot in Hosea.

Hosea 4:15 Though you, Israel (the northern kingdom of Israel) play the harlot (by worshipping idols instead of worshipping God who is your husband), yet let not Judah (the southern kingdom of Israel) become guilty (because they continue to be faithful in their worship of God). .

Hosea 4:17 ”Ephraim (the northern kingdom of Israel) is joined to idols (which is described as adultery against God who is their husband); (so Prophet Hosea) let him alone (because they will not listen to you. God will punish them as happened when they were expelled and became the lost tribes of Israel which God promised will be returned in the end of days. God did not divorced the Jewish people in the southern kingdom of Judah. See Isaiah 50:1 and https://sites.google.com/view/islamandthekoran/what-and-when-is-the-new-covenant-in-jeremiah-31  ).”

See Isaiah 50:1 above

Hosea 14:10 (in Jewish bible or Hosea 14:9 in Christian bible) Whoever is wise let him understand these things and whoever is discerning let him know these things. The ways of the Lord are right and the righteous do walk in them and those who rebel do stumble on them (and these ways of the Lord are explained in Ecclesiastes 7:20, Proverbs 24:16, Ezekiel 18:21 - 18:23, Isaiah 1:18, Isaiah 55:7, Hosea 14:3 in Jewish bible or Hosea 14:2 in Christian bible and Micah 6:6 - 6:8).

12. Amos 8:11 - 8:12 explained.

Quran 6:34 Koran 6:34 “… no one can change the words of God …”

However sometimes verses are misunderstood.

Amos 8:11 “… I (God) will send a famineof hearing the words of the Lord (meaning the people in the Northern Kingdom of Israel will not be hearing God because they have become idol worshippers and wrong doers).”

Amos 8:12 And they (the people of the Northern Kingdom of Israel) shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it (because God will exile them and God will not speak with them).

Note 1. The peoples of the Northern Kingdom of Israel who were exiled are known today as the lost tribes of Israel because no one knows to which lands they were taken however God has promised to bring them back to Israel near the end of days in Amos 9:14 - 9:15.

Amos 9:14 And I (God) will return the captivity (from exile) of My people Israel, and they shall build the desolate cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink their wine; they shall also make gardens, and eat their fruit.

Amos 9:15 And I (God) will plant them (the lost tribes of the Northern Kingdom of Israel) on their land (Israel), and they shall no more be taken out of their land which I (God) have given them, said the LORD your God.

Note 2. God destroyed the Northern Kingdom of Israel and its people were exiled because they turned to idol worship.

At the same time God saved the southern kingdom of Judah because they were faithful to God.

Note 3. Amos preached in the Northern Kingdom of Israel but his message was not welcomed and he was advised to return to the southern kingdom of Judah from where he wrote letters warning the people in the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

13. Malachi 2:3 explained.

Spread dung of your sacrifices on your faces explained.

Giving sacrifice to God is like giving dung in the sight of God when God is not in your heart (Malachi 2:2) or you turn people away from the Torah (Malachi 2:8) or you do not follow the Torah (Malachi 2:8 and 2:10) or you have taken a second wife who prays to foreign gods and put her about your Israelite first wife and have been unjust to your Israelite wife (Malachi 2:11 - 2:16) or you say that everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord (Malachi 2:17).

All these people who bring sacrifices to the temple in Jerusalem and are accepted by the priests will all have their sacrifices rejected by God because without correcting your behaviour your sacrifices are like dung in the sight of God meaning offering sacrifices at the temple in Jerusalem without correcting behaviour is rejected by God.

Malachi 2:3 Look, I (God) will rebuke the seed (the children of Israel in Malachi 2:11 - 2:17 by telling them how they have disobeyed and wearied God) for your hurt (committed against God in the temple in Jerusalem), and will spread dung of your sacrifices on your faces (meaning God will reject the sacrifices offered at the temple in Jerusalem by those who have not corrected their evil behaviour), and you (your deeds) shall be taken away with it (meaning your deeds will be like dung in the sight of God because it is foretold that you will not listened to your Lord in Malachi 2:2).

Malachi 2:10 Have we not all one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers (which they made with God)

Note 1. The children of Israel are cursed and punished by God when they break their covenant agreement (which is the Torah) with God.

Quran 17:8 Koran 17:8 (The mercy of God was on the children of Israel when God chose them from among all the people in the world 1800 years before the birth of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 44:32 and Quran 45:16 and gave the children of Israel the Holy land of Canaan today Israel and Palestine in Quran 5:20 – 5:21 where the children of Israel built the First Temple of God in Jerusalem Al-Quds 1500 years before the birth of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 34:13. After God explains the destruction of the first Jewish Temple of God in Jerusalem Al-Quds 1150 years before the birth of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 17:4 – 17:5 then came the mercy of God which again established the Jews and the second Jewish Temple of God in Jerusalem Al-Quds 1080 years before the birth of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 17:6 followed by the destruction of the second Temple of God in Jerusalem Al-Quds 500 years before the birth of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 17:7. Then God through Prophet Muhammad foretold the future), “It may be that your Lord (God) shall have mercy on you (which happened when the children of Israel the Jews the Hebrews were returned to Jerusalem Al-Quds 1300 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad as foretold in Quran 17:8), but if you repeat (the sin of arrogance) We (God) shall repeat (the punishment), and We (God) have appointed Hell Jahannam as the home (in the hereafter) for the disbelievers.”

Note 1. The children of Israel are blessed and rewarded by God when they keep their covenant agreement (which is the Torah) with God.

Conclusion.

Malachi 2:3 is the curse of God to some in one generation of the children of Israel and Quran 17:8 is the mercy of God to some in another generation of the children of Israel showing how God tests each person in each generation of the children of Israel.

14. Zechariah 12:1 - 12:14 explained.

Zechariah 12:10 explained.

Zechariah 12:11 explained.

The war between Gog Magog and Israel explained.

Zechariah 12:1 A prophecy: The word of the LORD concerning Israel says the LORD, who stretched out the heavens (the expander of the heavens from one horizon to the other horizon) and laid the foundation of the earth and formed the spirit of man within him:

Zechariah 12:2 ”I will make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the peoples round it reeling. Judah shall be besieged as well as Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:3 And it shall happen in that day when all the nations are gathered against it (Jerusalem) that I (God) will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it (Jerusalem) shall injure themselves.

Zechariah 12:4 In that day, says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with panic and his rider with madness.” I will keep a watchful eye over Judah but I will blind the horsemen  of the nations.

Zechariah 12:5 Then the clans of Judah shall say in their heart: 'The people of Jerusalem are strong because the LORD Almighty is their God.'

Zechariah 12:6 ”In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a pan of fire in a pile of wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples around them right and left but Jerusalem shall stay (safe) in its place.”

Zechariah 12:7 The LORD shall first save the homes of Judah (outside of Jerusalem) so that the honour of the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be greater than that of Judah (meaning it will be clear that salvation for Judah came from God and not from the house of David or from Jerusalem meaning the one to be praised is God).

Zechariah 12:8 In that day the LORD shall protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem so that the weakest among them will be like David; and the house of David will be like God (meaning powerful) like the angel of the LORD (God) going before them (their enemies)

Zechariah 12:9 In that day I (God) will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they (the Jewish people, the house of David, Jerusalem) shall look to Me (God) because they (the enemies of Jerusalem) have thrust him through (killing a loved soldier like those described in Zechariah 12:11) ; and they (the Jewish people, the house of David, Jerusalem) shall mourn for him (the killing a loved soldier like those described in Zechariah 12:11), like one mourns for his only son, and (the Jewish people, the house of David, Jerusalem) shall be in bitterness for him (the killing a loved soldier like those described in Zechariah 12:11), like one that is in bitterness for his first-born (meaning this event of national sadness will make all Israel turn to God in remembrance of God and in repentance to God)

Note 1. Zechariah 12:10 is not about the death of Jesus by crucifixion but about how a loved one who is killed with a sword in the battle between Israel and Gog will move all Israel to remember God and this will bring the defeat of Gog and will bring the messianic age.

Note 2. The death in Zechariah 12:10 is a person of leadership meaning an anointed one meaning a messiah called mashiach ben Yosef or messiah son of Joseph according to the Talmud not the messiah called mashiach ben Dawid or messiah son of David.

This death will cause Israel to turn to God and will result in the coming of the messiah called “a redeemer” in Isaiah 59:20 who is mashiach ben Dawid or messiah son of David who will start the messianic age.

Isaiah 59:20 ”The redeemer (the messiah son of David) will come to Zion (Jerusalem), to those in Jacob (Israel) who repent for their sins”, said the LORD.

Note 3. In the end time war between Israel and Gog and Magog, the result of mourning for the death in the battlefield of messiah son of Joseph (English) Yosef (Hebrew) Yusuf (Arabic) mentioned in the Talmud will be repentance by the Jewish people to God and then will come the messiah son of David (English) Dawid (Hebrew) Dawud (Arabic) called the redeemer meaning the one who saves people from physical danger in Isaiah 59:20 starting the future messianic age.

Zechariah 12:11 In that day (in Zechariah 12:10 when the siege of Jerusalem and its salvation results in the killing of a beloved soldier there) shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon (the mourning in 1 Kings 22:36 for Ahab the son of Omri who was killed by Hadadrimmon the son of Tabrimmon in Ramoth Gilead in 1 Kings 22:6 and 1 Kings 22:30 - 22:40. Ahab disguised himself in the battle with the Arameans and was killed by an unaimed arrow and like the mourning in 2 Chronicles 35:25) in the valley of Megiddon (the mourning for Josiah the son of Amon who was killed in the valley of Megiddon in a battle with the Pharaoh of Egypt in 2 Kings 23:29 - 23:30 and 2 Chronicles 35:20 - 35:26. Hadadrimmon has no connection to the Valley of Megiddon meaning these are two similar events explaining how a beloved solder will die in battle in Jerusalem in Zechariah 12:10 meaning in future this beloved person in Jerusalem will disguise himself so that he can join this battle because people will not want him to risk his life in this battle in the same way Hadadrimmon representing Ahab disguised himself in 1 Kings 22:30 so that he could join the battle against the Arameans and was killed in battle and in the same way the valley of Megiddon represents Josiah who also disguised himself in 2 Chronicles 35:22 so that he could join the battle against the Pharaoh and was also killed in battle. God warned Ahab that he will die in battle in 1 Kings 22:16 - 22:18 and 1 Kings 22:20 - 22:22 and this is why Ahab went to battle in disguise meaning Zechariah 12:10 is not describing the messiah who is the son of David because the messiah son of David will obey God. The other example of what will happen in Zechariah 12:10 is in 2 Chronicles 35:21 where the Pharaoh has not come to fight Josiah and warns Josiah not to become involved with what the Pharaoh of Egypt is doing or God might destroy him and the Pharaoh is speaking the words of God however in 2 Chronicles 35:22 Josiah does not obey these words and Josiah joins the battle in disguise. In two events called Hadadrimmon and the valley of Megiddon are two examples of people who did not listen to the word of God meaning Zechariah 12:11 shows that Zechariah 12:10 is not about the messiah son of David who will fear God and obey God and will understand what is from God and what is not from God).

Note 1. Zechariah 12:10 is not about the messiah son of David who will fear God meaning he will obey God in Isaiah 11:2 and Isaiah 11:3 because in Zechariah 12:11 Hadadrimmon and the valley of Megiddon represent two people in history who thought they could escape the warning from God not to go to battle by going into battle in disguise.

Zechariah 12:11 describes what will happen in Zechariah 12:10.

Zechariah 12:10 describes one person who will be killed in future as being like Zechariah 12:11 which describes two people in history who were killed because they did not obey the word of God not to go to battle and instead they went to battle in disguise meaning Zechariah 12:10 and Zechariah 12:11 is not about the messiah son of David who will fear and obey God in Isaiah 11:2 and Isaiah 11:3.

Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come a shoot (a biological descendant in the messianic age) out of the stock (the biological descendants) of Jesse (the father of King David), and a twig (a biological descendant) shall grow out of his (Jesse’s) roots (biological offspring).

Note 1. The messiah will be a biological descendant of a man meaning this messiah is not God or part of God.

1 Samuel 17:58 And (King) Saul said to him (David) 'Whose son are you, young man?' And David answered: 'I am the son of your servant Jesse the Bethlehemite.'

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest on him (a biological descendant of messiah King David through messiah King Solomon), the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD (in the messianic age).

Note 1. The messiah will fear God meaning this messiah is not God or part of God.

Isaiah 11:3 And his (the messiah through the messiah king David and through the messiah king Solomon) delight shall be in the fear of the LORD (God); and (through wisdom to judge people in court like the wisdom God gave to the messiah king Solomon) he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes (meaning it will not matter if a person to be judged looks like a poor person or looks like a wealthy person), neither (shall he) decide by the hearing of his ears (meaning it will not matter if a person to be judged can speak well or cannot speak well);

Note 1. The messiah will fear God meaning this messiah is not God or part of God.

Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness (fairness, using wisdom to judge instead of using his eyes to judge or his ears to judge a person) he (the messiah through the messiah king David and through the messiah king Solomon) shall  judge the poor (meaning he will not be a corrupt judge who does favours for wealthy people), and (he shall) decide with equity (fairness) for the meek (the humble people) of the land (meaning he will not be a corrupt judge who does favours for wealthy people); and he shall smite the (sinful people of the) land with (wisdom from) the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips (mouth) he shall (give wise judgement to) slay the wicked.

Note 1. The messiah is a king who will judge with wisdom and with justice meaning this messiah is not God or part of God.

Zechariah 12:12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the family of the house of David apart and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart and their wives apart;

Note 1. The people of the future will be the biological descendants of the past.

Zechariah 12:13 The family of the house of Levi (the priests and the Levites) apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites (Shammua the son of David) apart, and their wives apart;

Note 1. The people of the future will be the biological descendants of the past.

Zechariah 12:14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart (in a national mourning that will make all Israel return to God).
