Quran 111:0 Koran 111:0 Verse 111:0 Ayah 111:0 Ayat 111:0 Aya 111:0 In the name of God, The Most Kind, The Most Merciful.

Quran 111:1 Koran 111:1 Verse 111:1 Ayah 111:1 Ayat 111:1 Aya 111:1 The (work done with the) hands of Abu Lahab (the chief priest representing the worship of many stone idol gods at the Kabah in Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia who is the next door neighbour of Prophet Muhammad) shall perish and he shall perish.

Quran 111:2 Koran 111:2 Verse 111:2 Ayah 111:2 Ayat 111:2 Aya 111:2 His (Abu Lahab’s) wealth and his gains shall not help him (in the hereafter where) –

Comment 1. When Abd-al-Uzza (“Abu Lahab” meaning glowing face because he had red cheeks) first heard about the religion of one God he asked, “What do I (the chief priest representing the worship of many stone idol gods at the Kabah) get if I accept your religion?”

Prophet Muhammad answered, “You would get what all the other believers get.”

Abu Lahab asked, “Is there no distinction or privilege for me ((the chief priest representing the worship of many stone idol gods at the Kabah)?”

Prophet Muhammad answered, “What else (other than ever lasting life in Paradise Jannah) do you want?

Abu Lahab said, “May this religion where I and all other people are to be equal (in privileges) and the same (in status and rank) perish.”

Quran 111:3 Koran 111:3 Verse 111:3 Ayah 111:3 Ayat 111:3 Aya 111:3 He (Abu Lahab) shall enter a blazing fire.

Comment 1. What is the fire in the hereafter?

Quran 104:2 Verse 104:2 (Misfortune is on every person) who gathers wealth and counts it (instead of using it for righteous deeds).

Quran 104:3 Verse 104:3 (They love their wealth so much that it is as if) such a person thinks that their wealth shall make them live forever.

Quran 104:4 Verse 104:4 No (such a person is wrong; it is not wealth that makes you live forever it is good deeds). Such a person (who misuses the wealth that was given to them by God or misuses the mouth that was given to them by God by slandering other people or by spread evil gossip) shall be thrown into the crusher.

Quran 104:5 Verse 104:5 What can explain to you what the crusher is?

Quran 104:6 Verse 104:6 It is the (crushing) fire (in Hell Jahannam) that is ignited by God (on those in whose hearts there are evil deeds).

Quran 104:7 Verse 104:7 (A crushing fire) which reaches inside the hearts (of the wicked).

Quran 104:8 Verse 104:8 It (the crushing fire) shall close (its self) all around them (who are wicked).

Quran 104:9 Verse 104:9 In extended columns (of crushing fire that shall extend through and above the wicked and columns of smoke that shall extend above the wicked).

Quran 111:4 Koran 111:4 Verse 111:4 Ayah 111:4 Ayat 111:4 Aya 111:4 And (so shall) his wife (perish because she is) the carrier of firewood (firewood means, slander and evil gossip regarding her next door neighbour Prophet Muhammad).

Comment 1. Arwa Umm Jamil bint Harb bin Umayyah (Umm Jamil) was the wife of Abd-al-Uzza (Abu Lahab who was the chief priest representing the worship of many stone idol gods at the Kabah).

Quran 104:1 Verse 104:1 Misfortune is on every slanderer (who insults) and every person who spreads (evil) gossip (about other people).

Comment 2. The punishment for mocking comes from God only, not from humans.

God has not ordered humans to kill other humans for mocking.

What should Muslims do when Prophet Muhammad is insulted?

What did God order Muslims to do when Prophet Muhammad is insulted?

How does God test Muslims when Prophet Muhammad is insulted?

Hurtful words are a test from God.

1. God in Quran 3:186 says hurtful words are a test from God which every Muslim will certainly hear and those Muslims who are patient when they hear hurtful words and remember God when they hear hurtful words will pass this test and be rewarded by God in the hereafter.

Quran 3:186 Verse 3:186 Ayah 3:186 You shall certainly be tested in your wealth (for charity) and in yourselves (for righteousness) and you shall certainly hear many hurtful things from those who were given the Scripture before you (from some of the Jews and some of the Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to God (such as some of the stone idol worshippers) and if you are patient (when you hear hurtful things) and fear God (when you hear hurtful things) then indeed (you have obeyed God in this test and) that (obedience to God) is of the matters of determination (by God of your reward in the hereafter).

2. God in Quran 7:126 shows that patience is a blessing that you ask from God.

3. God in Quran 16:127 says be patient.

God is the most patient so people who are patient are closest to the way of God.

4. God in Quran 20:130 says be patient with what they say and pray to God so that you will be satisfied in the hereafter.

5. God in Quran 38:17 says be patient with what they say by remembering God and by asking God to forgive your sins.

6. God in Quran 41:34, Quran 41:35 and Quran 41:36 says respond to evil with good behaviour and God willing your enemy will become your close friend.

7. God in Quran 50:39 says be patient with what people say by remembering God and praying to God.

8. God in Quran 73:10 says be patient with what they say and when you leave them be polite.

Quran 111:5 Koran 111:5 Verse 111:5 Ayah 111:5 Ayat 111:5 Aya 111:5 Around her neck is (only) a rope of fibre (but she thinks she is wearing a beautiful expensive necklace whenever she is seen walking around with it in Makkah. What is precious and to be admired is not on the earth but it is in the hereafter).

Comment 1. Arwa Umm Jamil bint Harb bin Umayyah (Umm Jamil) was the wife of Abd-al-Uzza (Abu Lahab who was the chief priest to many stone idol gods in the Kabah). Umm Jamil had a beautiful and expensive necklace that she loved to wear with pride when she walked through the town of Makkah.

Umm Jamil who was a next door neighbour to Prophet Muhammad in Makkah would scatter thorns outside the door of Prophet Muhammad at night and in the day she would talk with the town people by slandering Prophet Muhammad.

Arrogance, wealth, statues and the life style of a chief priest to many stone idol gods in the Kabah was what was being protected by Abu Lahab and his wife when they actively used all means possible to oppose the acceptance of the religion of the one God that Prophet Muhammad had revealed.
