This Guild was called to a remote area of the Scottish Highlands, following reports of something strange making livestock and humans sick. Historical reports of a strange recluse in the hills, and mysterious lights and smoke implied there might be an unlicensed laboratory in the area.
Investigations revealed the terrible work of one Dr Alistair Gladstone. Obsessed with the magical power inherent within Risen, he had sought to enhance it, going as far as to take beings already imbued with supernatural natures and using alchemical and magical means to turn them into what he believed could be the first of a new type of Risen. They did however lose the sentience that makes a true Risen in the process, becoming what would be colloquially known as alchemically enhanced zombies.
Dr Gladstone's lab was thoroughly investigated and dismantled, revealing he had unknowingly unlocked a method to allow for Risen to Evolve and gain a new level of potential. It was also discovered that his funding had come through a mysterious organisation known to him as "The Consortium". Letters indicated his funding was dependent on him also doing research into the weak point to the Plane of Water that was located nearby, providing elemental shards to this organisation. He has neglected to do so, and in fear of those who might be sent after him, had performed a catastrophic ritual which had trapped him in the gateway to the Plane of Water, had exploded parts of his lab, contaminating the local water, allowing beings to pass freely from the Plane of Water, and released almost all his test experiments.
It was also discovered that his drive to prove his hypothesis at the cost of anything, was heavily influenced by his possession by Xakaan, the New God of Hunger. the influence of this God affected several members of the Guild, but by the end of the weekend they were able to extract both Dr Gladstone and the attached Avatar of Xakaan from within the damaged gate to the Plane of Water, and were able to defeat and banish the influence of Xakaan. Dr Gladstone himself was arrested and taken into Guild custody and interrogated, promising all information he possessed in exchange for protection from the Harbingers that he feared the Prismatic Consortium would send to kill him.
Other enemies were encountered in a variety of ways. The Guild Agent known as Danny Krikitos was confronted by the Greek Goddess Artemis and accepted her charge to him to descend to the Underworld and deal with the enemy known as The Blight.
A fae smuggling ring known as the Clover Gang was pursued, and their link to The Consortium was unveiled. It is as yet unclear the full extent of this alliance, with the Consortium members fleeing by magical means. However, several of the Clover Gang were arrested and questioned.
Finally, Ordo Dracul were once more encountered, in a race with the Guild to claim an artifact believed to be the Ring of Dracula. Ordo Dracul won the race and made off with the artifact, but a member of that group, who is also a relation to Guild member Heidi Kramer was brought into custody for interrogation, before managing to make an escape.
