With two Blacklight Protocols in such quick succession, Guild Master Katriana de Bonne declared that the Guild should attend a training mission together to prepare for the ever increasing threats in the world, and sent a selection of the top operatives to New Jersey. It was then revealed that this was a subterfuge to get the agents needed to investigate the Silver Hand to the place where it was reported they had one of their primary bases, without the need for the paperwork signoffs that would have otherwise been required for such a high risk mission.
The Guild found themselves near a town called Harmony, which was initially very welcoming. They began their investigations into the area, and soon things turned sour with the neighbouring town, who revealed themselves to be cultists of a local creature known as the Jersey Devil. This was a creature that could call on the memories, even long forgotten, of loved ones, in an attempt to lure people into the woods, tragically succeeding in the case of Professor William Jekyll, a Guild Agent who was found dead in the forest. This even seemed to work on Risen, oddly enough, bringing memories of the life lived while alive. The Jersey Devil was eventually slain, unfortunately many of the inhabitants of Harmony were unwilling to stand down and lost their lives in the battle.
There were attacks by Ordo Dracul as well as Apollo's Gaze, though none were successful in their attempts, and as usual there were further troubles from the forces of the New Gods. In this case, where it was revealed that Mistress Sapphire Randale had become a Voidborn of Ixtab, and needed a ritual to be cleansed, though unfortunately the ritual went very awry and although Sapphire was cured, the backlash of Chaos energy afflicted a dark possession of Ixtab on several ritual participants, which was then later cured in an additional ritual.
In regards to the Silver Hand, the Guild used the 'exigent circumstances' loophole in warrant law, to investigate the weapons base, acquiring a great deal of information on the organisation. It was discovered they had found Father Caleb, and were holding him hostage alongside a Vatican operative. The Guild managed to extract them, with Father Caleb then being arrested for his actions in Dartmoor, although with agreement that he will work for the Guild while working out his sentence. They also found and arrested Dr Felicia Crispin, the creator of the so-called 'werewolf cure', removing her to a secure location. Lt. Vernon Mowbray, believed to be the so called 'Master' of the Silver Hand attacked the Guild and was executed. And due to his Immortal nature, an Immortal of the Guild then Quickened him.
