Some characters may wish to group together. In game, they are said to be part of the same Cell. Members of Cells do not always belong to the same Guild Department; there are several cross-department ones, as well as some that choose to be from the same department. When you create your cell, you will establish if it is of the Information, Social Connections, or Combat type and every member of the Cell will gain access to the following:
Information: Once per event you may submit a request to the Guild Archives for information on a specific query. The information you receive will not be as in depth as a research request, and will depend on if the Guild has ever encountered the subject of your query before.
Social Connections: Once per event, you may reach out to a contact you have made in your line of work for assistance with an issue. Their response will be dependent on what is sensible, they cannot solve an entire problem, but they might be able to send you some resource, send a person to discuss the issue, or similar, at Game Team discretion.
Combat: You know your cell has your back; once per event, you can ‘Compel Duel’ with a monster (not player), who will then fight only you until either the duel is concluded by one of the two involved falling unconscious, or they are struck by any other of your allies. Initiate this with the call “Compel Duel”. Once a duel is underway, neither target will be able to be compelled with the same call until the duel is concluded or interrupted.
Note that these are RP buffs to support the fact you have learnt to work together with people, but as such they may be subjected to RP consequences if they are misused (insulting a contact or killing them on arrival may get you a bad reputation and your contacts may be less likely to respond for a while for example).
