Monthly CSD Orientation
CSD requires that all newly hired staff attend the CSD orientation within the first 30 to 90 days of their hire. This orientation is hosted by the CSD Core Leadership staff and the office of the Director of Early Childhood Programs. The CSD Orientation consists of a 3-day overview of Gads Hill Center origination and the CSD Program. The CSD Project Lead, the Associate Director of Compliance, and Associate Director of Center-Based Operations and Program Quality are responsible for the planning and execution of the CSD Monthly Orientation.
Planning Process:
Planning for the CSD Monthly orientation should begin two weeks prior to the actual orientation. CSD Orientations are typically held the last week of every calendar month, with the exception of the months of August and December. All staff who have began working in the current month of the orientation must attend the orientation. This Means if it is the month of March, any one who start the last week of February and the first three weeks of March or in the current week of the orientation should attend orientation. Any CSD or relevant Staff may attend regardless of the role; all CSD roles should be included in orientation. Breakfast and lunch should be provided for the attending staff.
