In abundance of caution, Gad’s Hill Center will follow the Illinois State Department of Public Health and the CDC guidance for Schools concerning Covid-19. Children who receive a Covid-19 diagnostic test positive (confirmed with PCR test or antigen test), OR have Covid-like symptoms without testing and are exposed to a confirmed case must:

·       Isolate for five days

·       The family/child will retest; if positive, quarantine for an additional five days

·       May return after 5 days quarantine AND 24 hours without fever (or fever-reducing) medicine, diarrhea, vomiting, AND improvement of symptoms.

·       If still symptomatic after ten days, a doctor’s clearance will be needed
