Partner Site Selection Criteria Checklist
When selecting a Partner Network Site, GHC implements a systematic approach to analyzing and vetting potential center-based sites. It is important that all potential programs meet key components of programming guided by general state, local and federal requirements. It is also essential that programs seeking partnerships already serve a population that meets Head Start income guidelines as well as existing qualified staff according to GHC standards. Potential partner sites must meet at minimum basic requirements;
Child Eligibility
Family Income Eligibility
Staff Credential Qualifications (preferred that teachers have a BA and an Illinois Gateways ECE Level 4 at minimum)
Site Director Credential Qualifications (at least an Illinois Gateways Level 1 but Level 2 preferred)
Program Site Capacity
DFSS Health and Safety Compliant Facilities
