(The "RE-" Rule)
ইংরেজি যেসব ভার্ব "Re-" দিয়ে শুরু হয়, সেগুলোর অধিকাংশের অর্থেরই ভেতরে "আবার" (Again) বা "পেছনে" (Back) কথাটি লুকিয়ে থাকে। তাই এদের পর কখনো Again বা Back বসবে না।
টুলকিট: Re- ≠ Back / Again
মনে রাখুন: Return, Repeat, Revert, Rewrite, Recede, Reimburse, Retreat, Reply.
❌ ভুল: Please return back my money. / Can you repeat again?
সঠিক: Please return my money. / Can you repeat?
(The Descriptive Rule)
কোনো কিছুর নাম বা বৈশিষ্ট্য উল্লেখ করার পর তার আকৃতি (Shape), রঙ (Color) বা দৈর্ঘ্য (Length/Size) আলাদা করে বলার প্রয়োজন নেই।
সূত্র: \([Adjective/Noun] + in + [Category] \rightarrow\) Redundant
❌ ভুল: The ball is round in shape.
সঠিক: The ball is round.
❌ ভুল: Sky is blue in color.
সঠিক: Sky is blue.
❌ ভুল: The rope is short in length.
সঠিক: The rope is short.
🎯 হ্যাক্স ৪: "Together" ট্রিক
যেসব কাজের মূল শর্তই হলো একাধিক মানুষ বা উপাদানের মিলন, সেই ভার্বগুলোর পরে আলাদা করে Together বসানোর কোনো দরকার নেই।
মনে রাখুন: Connect, Combine, Mix, Blend, Merge, Gather, Meet, Cooperate, Compete.
❌ ভুল: Let's combine the two files together.
সঠিক: Let's combine the two files.
🎯 হ্যাক্স ৫: "Reason" এবং "Because" এর শত্রুতা
পরীক্ষায় সবচেয়ে বেশি আসা ফাঁদ এটি। একটি বাক্যে Reason (কারণ) এবং Because (কারণ) কখনো একসাথে বসে একে অপরকে সাহায্য করতে পারে না। তারা একে অপরের শত্রু।
সূত্র: Reason → সাথে বসবে That (কখনো Because নয়)।
❌ ভুল: The reason he was late was because it rained.
সঠিক: The reason he was late was that it rained.
বিকল্প সঠিক: He was late because it rained.

১-২০ (Sentence Correction): মনে রাখুন, sufficient এবং enough কখনো একসাথে বসে না। আবার The reason why বাক্যে থাকলে পরবর্তীতে because এর জায়গায় that বসে (প্রশ্ন ৩ ও ৪১)।
৪১-৬০ (Spotting Errors): ৪২ নম্বরে return back ভুল (শুধু return হবে)। ৪৫ নম্বরে past memories ভুল (স্মৃতি সবসময় অতীতের-ই হয়, তাই শুধু memories হবে)।
৮১-১০০ (Miscellaneous): ৮৮ নম্বরে biography মানেই কারো জীবনের গল্প, তাই of his life বাহুল্য দোষ। ৯৩ নম্বরে autobiography মানেই আত্মজীবনী (যা নিজের দ্বারা লেখা হয়), তাই written by himself অপ্রয়োজনীয়।
