This course provides an extremely engaging exploration of human movement from a scientific perspective which sets foundations of knowledge for VCE Physical Education. Students will develop their knowledge across Energy Systems, Fatigue and Recovery, Fitness Components, Training Methods, Chronic Adaptations, and Activity Analysis through participation in practical activities, ball sports and stick and racquet sports. Students will dive into practical exercises utlising the weights room and other practical spaces to understand how the body responds to certain movement patterns and use data analysis to further apply their knowledge to theoretical concepts.
