Option A: For students participating in the Acceleration Program:
Students all study the following core subjects:
English (or English as an Additional Language subject to eligibility)
Maths (students will study Year 10 Foundation, Year 10 General Maths or Year 10 Maths Methods)
Optima
For students participating in the Acceleration Program, a VCE subject will also be included, which counts as two units (both semesters). For information about the Acceleration Program can be found here.
Students then select six electives. Student must select at least one elective from each of the following Learning Areas:
Science (either Chemistry/Physics, Biology/Environmental Science or both)
Humanities or Language (*Students are only eligible to continue with Language if French or Japanese has been satisfactorily completed in Year 9)
Outdoor or Physical Education
Other guidelines:
Language must be studied for the full year (as two electives).
Students can study a maximum of three electives in a single Learning Area.

Option B: For students who are completing a Year 10 program

Humanities or Languages (only if completed Languages successfully in Year 9)
Outdoor or Physical Education

Students can study a maximum of three electives in a single Learning Area.
