AOR

What is AOR?

Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) is provided by IRCC normally within 1 month of receiving application. The AOR acknowledges the date that CPC-S received the application and provides the sponsor’s UCI number (Unique Client Identifier). It is sent to the sponsor’s email address if provided in the application. If you cannot log into the ECAS, shortly after receiving the AOR, it can take up to a couple of days for IRCC to update the ECAS system. There is no AOR when your case file is transferred to the visa office.
