Today's meditation focuses on the Lord’s powerful miracle by raising Lazarus from the tomb after four days after his death.

In John chapter 11, we read the whole story of the death and the resurrection of Lazarus. In fact, the Lord loved that family. They were so hospitable. John 11: 3 records the events so vividly of the wonderful sisters and their brother Lazarus.

Jesus used to visit Bethany the house of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. When Lazarus was seriously sick, the sisters sent a message to the Lord. But Jesus delayed the visit for two more days. In the beginning, Jesus mentions that Lazarus was asleep. And later, He says that Lazarus was dead. Jesus reached Bethany four days late.

Moreover, when the Lord visited those sisters and the relatives stricken by sorrow and grief, Jesus wept himself.

However the story does not end with the words of comfort and condolences, but a new phase of the story begins as Jesus wanted to visit the tomb where this lad’s body was kept. As soon as he reached the burial place which was a cave, he told the people to take away the huge stone that had shut the opening of the tomb.

Here remains a big truth, that there are stones that are blocking the Lord’s miracles happening in our lives. First, the stone should be removed and then we can see the glory of resurrection in our lives. Now, shall we should examine what kind of stone that is blocking the entry of Jesus’ power in our lives? Unless such stone is rolled away we are still dead in our sins.
Here remains a big truth, that there are stones that are blocking the Lord’s miracles happening in our lives. First, the stone should be removed and then we can see the glory of resurrection in our lives. Now, shall we should examine what kind of stone that is blocking the entry of Jesus’ power in our lives? Unless such stone is rolled away we are still dead in our sins.
When the stone was taken off, then the power of resurrection entered into the dead body and Lazarus came back to life at the loud voice of life pronounced by the Author of Life, our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s us therefore meditate on this scripture and set right the things with the Lord and glorify His Holy name.

Loving Lord Heavenly Father, we commit ourselves into your hands and the stone that blocks your power in our lives may be rolled away by the ;power of Lord Jesus Christ, so that we can live in faith. We pray for all those who are sick and hospitalized. We pray that you may revive them and also Lord you may put an end to this virus that is bothering the world. May the Power of resurrection rest upon us . In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
