Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. 3 Declare His glory among the [a]nations, His wonders among all peoples. 4 For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.

Greetings to all from Church of Christ the King, Libya. Our meditation counsels us to make 'worship and praise' a habit.
Greetings to all from Church of Christ the King, Libya. Our meditation counsels us to make 'worship and praise' a habit.
Our church has finally opened after a lock-down period of eight long months. We thank God and for the government to allow us to open the doors of our church. Let our worship and our thanksgiving be renewed in Jesus name.

Psalm 96 is a worship song. The lyric is imperative in nature. It asks all to Sing (3), Proclaim, Declare, Give (3), Bring, Worship, Tremble.

Today, we entered into a new era of worshiping God. We are humbled as we express our gratefulness to God Almighty.

The book of Psalms is the collection of many beautiful songs composed by different authors from Moses to Solomon. Majority of Psalms are attributed to king David. David on many occasions was armed with the harp. His songs rose out of his life experiences. It culminates with thankfulness and praises to God almighty.

Many hymns which have enriched our lives like 'What a friend we have in Jesus', Amazing Grace', 'When peace like a river', 'Abide with me' and so on. The Holy spirit has moved on many occasions when meaningful spiritual songs were sung .

Dear Brethren, let praising and thanking God become a habit in our lives. Praise is the highest form of prayer. King David experienced and practiced praise in his life. Let the mumble of prayer and praise become our life's breath.

The ongoing evil pandemic has taken lot of lives. It has filled the lives of many with sadness and doom. Infectious endemics and pandemics of infections will come and go.
The ongoing evil pandemic has taken lot of lives. It has filled the lives of many with sadness and doom. Infectious endemics and pandemics of infections will come and go.
But, let this not affect our relationship with God almighty. Losing the power of praise and prayer is more than the effect of a pandemic. Such infection will kill our souls eternally and alienate us from God.

The Lord is so good and merciful. So dear friends, it is our duty to ascribe greatness to the name of the God almighty. He is our redeeming Physician and the loving Lord. May His name be glorified.

Loving heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace and mercy especially at this critical time. We thank you because we are still alive to glorify your name. Thank you for every one who could attend the worship service today. They offered thankfully. Bless them abundantly. We also extend your blessings on those who were unable to come to the church. Lord protect all of us under your wings. Help us to continue to worship your holy name at all times with a new song. In Jesus's name, we pray. Amen.
