For this week’s assignment, I created an Infographic Assessment Plan that explores how different assessment types align with our learning outcomes. The infographic highlights ten assessment formats—quizzes, computer based tests, essays, infographics, videos, choice boards, simulations, portfolios, oral presentations, and interactive discussions. For each assessment, I explained what it is used for and how it connects to the UDL framework, making it clear how each option supports student learning in different ways.
I also included two additional elements to make the infographic more meaningful.
A Venn diagram shows which assessments are typically formative, which are summative, and which can be used as both.
A section on ethical practices and accessibility addresses the importance of protecting student data and ensuring that assessments are designed to include all learners.
This visual not only meets the assignment requirements but also reflects how assessments can be both effective and equitable. It ties everything together by showing how we can choose the right assessment format while keeping UDL principles and ethical considerations in mind.
