Learning Log 1

Welcome to my learning log for this course! I’m excited to begin this seven-week journey focused on developing engaging and meaningful approaches to digital learning. As a Title I middle school English Language Arts teacher in the Greater Houston area, I’m always looking for new ways to connect with students and make learning more interactive. I love learning, experimenting with new ideas, and using technology to create lessons that spark curiosity and creativity.

My main interest in this course is to discover how digital tools can transform classroom experiences from passive to active learning. I want to design lessons that give students ownership of their learning and integrate technology in ways that truly enhance understanding.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing artifacts, reflections, and examples of my work as I apply what we explore in class. Each post will include my commentary on what I’m learning, how it connects to my teaching practice, and how it might support student engagement and success.

My goal for this blog is to create a professional space to reflect, grow, and showcase my learning journey as both an educator and a lifelong learner. I’m looking forward to learning from others, expanding my skills, and sharing meaningful takeaways from this course.
