Module 2 Assignment 1: Infographic/Poster on Ethical Technology Use

For this assignment, I created a digital citizenship infographic to illustrate the importance of using technology ethically and responsibly in educational settings. The infographic highlights five key areas:

• Privacy – protecting personal information and respecting others’ data.

• Copyright & Fair Use – citing sources, avoiding plagiarism, and using approved resources.

• Appropriate Digital Behavior – promoting respectful communication and reminding students that cyberbullying is against the law in Texas under David’s Law.

• Classroom Tech Tips – encouraging focus, safe browsing, and responsible device use.

• AI Use Tips – guiding students to use AI tools responsibly for brainstorming and feedback, while ensuring original work and accuracy.

The goal of this infographic/poster is to provide students with a visual and engaging guide to digital citizenship, making complex concepts easier to understand and apply in real-world classroom situations.

To ensure clarity and professionalism, I used Grammarly to edit the final text before designing the infographic in Canva.
