For this project, I created a worked example that shows how to use Magic School AI to help students revise a rough draft. The audience for this example is teachers and anyone who supports student writing. The video walks through the process step by step so viewers can see exactly how the tool improves clarity, organization, and sentence quality. One challenge was keeping the video clear without adding too much text. I solved this by recording a screencast and adding simple labels in Canva. Another challenge was pacing. I made sure each step was short and easy to follow.
I used several multimedia principles in this project. The Multimedia Principle appears through visuals, narration, and simple text working together. The Modality Principle shows up in the spoken explanations instead of long written blocks. The Contiguity Principle guided me to match visuals and narration at the same time. The Segmenting Principle is used by dividing the process into short steps. I also used the Personalization Principle by speaking in a friendly and direct way.
This project helped me design a clear worked example that teachers can use right away. It also gave me a chance to showcase a tool I am actively using in my own classroom. Magic School AI has already made a noticeable difference for my students, especially during the revision stage of writing. I have seen stronger topic sentences, clearer explanations, and better organization because the tool gives instant and specific guidance. Creating this worked example allowed me to break down the process in a way that other teachers can follow, and it reinforced how valuable this tool has been for improving student writing.
