Module 5: Current AI Implementation and Policy

This module clarified how AI is entering K12 with real promise and real limits. I learned that strong policies, teacher training, and clear guardrails are essential so AI supports learning without replacing human judgment.

In my district, the Magic School pilot shows practical gains. Teachers save time on planning and can differentiate more easily, and we are drafting guidance for responsible use, privacy, and academic integrity.

My next steps are simple. I will model ethical AI use, build AI literacy with my students, and use AI to free time for feedback and small group support. The goal is the same as always. Better teaching and better learning.
