Reflecton:
Studying Web 3.0 and Connectivist Learning helped clarify how internet technologies are shifting toward more personalized and decentralized models. The idea that students can navigate their own networks of information, supported by smarter tools and open access, is a logical step in how education is adapting.
However, I still have concerns about student buy in. Many students may not be ready or willing to take on the self direction that these models assume. Without genuine interest or engagement, even the best designed systems will not make much of a difference.
That said, the framework makes sense. If applied thoughtfully, with support and structure, it could offer more flexibility and autonomy to those who are ready for it.
