Crafting Guide

Crafting is one of the many options of using your hoards of loot. Crafting involves turning other items, sometimes even junk, into better or useful items!

Crafting can create a wide variety of items, including, potions, background cosmetics, cosmetic items, equipment for both riders and Algolope and other things!

There are 4 branches of crafting, each with their own levels, Alchemy, Cooking, Crafting, and Smithing. Each has it's own list of items that can be made, and sometimes a material or item made in one branch is needed for higher tier crafts of another!

Getting Started;
All beginning crafters know a few basic recipes from each branch, these are unlocked for everyone and can be crafted at any time as long as you have the required materials!
To craft other items beyond the beginner recipes, you'll need to find or purchase Recipes! From there you have to work on leveling your crafting skill, which is as easy as succeeding in a craft attempt! Each item has a tier, from 0 - Beginner, up to 6 - Mythic (The same number of Ranks an Algolope can obtain!) Lower tier items are easier to craft, but award less skill points, and eventually no points the higher rank you go.

Failing a craft consumes items, you can review the Fail chance below! Fail Chance reduces by 5% for each Level in Crafting, and may be further reduced by Tinkerer Profession, as well as items and Abilities.

Beginner Level 1 Crafting Rates:
Beginner Crafters can only craft Beginner (Tier 0) Items up to Adept (Tier 3) if they have the recipe and required items. Beginner Tier 0 recipes have a flat fail rate of 20%! Each successful craft earns 1 point, once a Crafter reaches Level 1, Tier 0 crafts award 1 SP and have a 10% fail rate.
After reaching Level 3, all Beginner Craft items are 100% successful.

Skill Points and Levels:

Tier 0 --> Tier 1 : 10 SP

Tier 1 --> Tier 2 : 20 SP

Tier 2 --> Tier 3: 40 SP

Tier 3 --> Tier 4: 60 SP

Tier 4 --> Tier 5: 120 SP

Tier 5 --> Tier 6: 240 SP

You can choose to level each branch to be able to potentially craft everything, or trade with other members to get needed items! Some materials may also be available in related shops in the Marketplace.

To start crafting you will need a tracker, you can use this [Example Crafting Tracker] or make your own! It should detail your successful crafts, with link proof, and your current SP and Crafting Tier for each Branch you choose to participate in!
