Hunting, Fishing and Scavenging are considered Basic Activities. These activities are available to any Algolope, including Novice rank. Basic Activities are the primary means to earn gold, crafting items, and food, but come with a risk of injury. If your algolope successfully complete either, you can then turn in the items for gold, or save it for crafting more valuable and useful items. Hunting, Fishing and Scavenging items can also be turned in for certain quests. A successful hunt will gain the owner anything from pelts, leather, feathers, claws, teeth or even bones. Successful fishing often awards fish and other related items, and successful Scavenging awards crafting and cooking ingredients.
To get better results, consider [Training] to increase an algolope's [Stats].

-All drawings must be original works, no recolors will be accepted for hunting/fishing.
- Up to 3 Algolope can be featured (4 with Guide), and must be fully visible.
- You can do 1 basic activity per submissions, either hunting, fishing, or scavenging. Please title the artwork or literature appropriately.
-Riders are optional, including a rider or a group starter adds a bonus +5 to your score. Max +10 for 1 rider and 1 starter accompanying them.
- Algolope that are inbred with either Spinal Deformities, or Brittle Bones cannot hunt, fish or scavenge due to health reasons.
-All other inbred Algolope can participate in basic activities, though they will receive deductions in their score depending on the birth defect, infertile Algolope have no deductions to scores, as this defect does not affect physical abilities.
-Fishing and Hunting must clearly depict prey animals, though they can be natural animals or fantasy and made up creatures. As long as it can be considered prey, you're free to hunt or fish it. (The animal depicted does not affect the loot, outside special seasonal prey.)
-Scavenging can be represented in a multitude of ways, including digging, exploring natural structures or ruins, foraging for plants or sorting through a dragon's hoard.
-Images must be fullbody, colored, with a simple background
-Written works must be at least 800 words, +400 per additional Algolope (max 3).
With higher ranks your algo can unlock new hunting grounds and fishing areas, as well as find better quality loot. These areas have differing loot tables than basic hunting and fishing, as well as different prey. You can read about that in [Areas]
All submissions must include the following form for each Algolope in the description:

The success of hunting and fishing is based on a series of Random Generation or RNG, including rank bonuses, and any additional bonuses from skills, traits, or companions.
Initial Score:
1-20 RNG
+ Strength + Speed (Hunting)
or
+ Stamina + Strength (Fishing)
or
+ Intelligence + Dexterity (Scavenging)
Rank Bonuses:
Novice +5/ Adept +10/ Expert +15/ Master +30/ Legend +60
Additional Bonuses:
+5-10 (1 Rider and Starter or 2 Starters)
+ Companion or trait bonus
Having a higher ranked Algolope tends to offer better bonuses and chances. Additionally, training can boost your stats +1-3 points so it's beneficial to train your algos to do better in activities and to produce stronger offspring.
Bonus Roll:
Certain Activities get a 'Bonus Roll', which applies the primary activity stat as a potential bonus chance to find more items. Strength in hunting, Stamina for fishing, and Intelligence for Scavenging. For example if your Algo has a STR: 6, then they have a 6% chance to find an additional item. You'll know your algo was successful or unsuccessful by the following comments:
With a bonus roll of 6, they found Speckled Egg.
The bonus roll must be between 1 and their Stat Total to get a Bonus Item.
