Eyespots
Eyespots are colored markings on the eyebrow of an Algolope. May be darker or lighter than the basecolor it sits on, based on colors in the pelt, or colored using the Natural Colors slider. Eyespots are one single color based on colors already present on the Algolope and cannot be bright saturated unnatural colors or pure black or white.

Eye-rings
Eye-rings lighten or darken the fur or skin around an Algos eyes. The rings may be the same color, patterned based on markings or have dark half and a light half. The Eye-rings may also be colored only on one half, like 'eyeshadow' or eyeliner. Color should reference basecolor or touching markings or otherwise be natural in appearance to the design. May apply paints to color unnaturally.

Grimalki with a light upper eyering and a dark lower eyering.
Magnet with a dark eyering, note the lineart is still visible. The white spot on the brow is part of Natural Accents.
Malva with a ligher eyering, matching skin color.
Natural Accents (Formerly Minimal White/Black)
A free marking that adds small limited patches of accents to an algolope’s pelt, usually on the face, jaw, forehead, chest, or tail tip. Comes in black or white, a color from the Natural Accents slider, or natural color based on the pelt colors. Must be one color only in all locations. Should not cover more than 10% of the base. Natural Accents can be seldom found on the body, feet or ears, and isn't considered part of a genetic marking.
Common locations for Natural Accents
Accents can cover the chin, cheek and throat area, and be in another location.
Accents outside of common areas should be kept minimal and small, generally no larger than the eye's size, though this isn't a hard rule.

Unders : Previously thought to be a common marking, unders is any skin area exposed on an algolope. This color can be the same or different color from the front legs (pigeon legs), and shoulder patch color. The color must match the design by being lighter or darker, or use the Natural Accents slider. Any area where white touches can be pink or a natural color like liver.
Unders Location
Some coats may not show any of the skin area that is affected by unders and thus that design cannot be listed as having 'unders'
Unders on Chino, the same color for all sections and darker than the coat but still natural in appearance.
Unders on Grimalki, a lighter color than the base coat.
Roth with ligher unders.
Unders Gradient: The belly can be any two colors (must be the same for both neck, belly and tail scales sections), based on the coat, and may be different than the shoulder patch and forelegs colors. The gradient must be in the same direction ie Dark --> Light on each section, and vice versa, or look like a continuous linear gradient from dark -> light -> dark. Maximum two natural colors.
Unnatural Colors can be acquired in the [Research Center] by using gemstones.
Unders Gradient on Sereth, dark to light on each section.
Unders Gradient on Cole, Dark to Light, using colors on the coat.
More subtle Unders Gradient on Barron, using base colors.
Unders Gradient on Pip, as well as Freckles on top.
Pigeon Legs: The forelegs may be a different 'natural' color to the coat. Such as pinks on a white coat, darker or lighter than the base or based on markings present, mimicking skin or scales on birds versus furred areas. May use the Natural Accents colors, Pink Accents if natural to the coat color, or be based on coat colors present.
Pigeon Legs on Grimalki, far darker than the base but a natural gray color.
Pigeon Legs on Sereth, matching the unders color and showing some pink from white marks.
Pigeon on Zeko, A natural brown, but different color from both the shoulder patch and unders area.
Pigeon Legs on Pip, A natural reddish brown, with slight white from markings.
Nuance:
Nuance is small subtle gradients added to the base coat to add variety. Nuance shouldn't resemble another marking and should be limited to small areas to create variety on the base coat. Nuance should pull from the same coat slider as the base coat, and can be lighter or darker. Nuance should be soft edged or a gradient.

Nuance on Face, a soft gradient and lighter than the base. Nuance sits on top of the marking but can also be underneath markings.
Nuance on Nose patch.
Moonmark- white, gray or yellow mark reminiscent of a moonphase, generally on the forehead, face, or shoulder. Max 1-3 Moonmarks may be present on the design and may depict fullmoons, moonphases or cresents. Moonmark may have Mapping around the marking and moonmarks can touch but not overlap.

Moonmark cresents on shoulder and ear, with mapping.

Sunmark - white, gray or yellow mark like a sunbear, cresent shaped, on chest or withers
Rust:
Reddish hue that is sometimes found on the haunches, legs, cheeks and sometimes the shoulder of an algo, or the tailtuft. Can use the Natural Accents Slider. Rust can be solid edges or soft and blended, creating a gradient into the base coat. Does not cover the entire range of 't' or tan points and must not be as saturated and bright.
Freckles - Small spots and clusters of spots on any skin area, generally darker than the underlying skin. Can be present on fur of face and cheek areas as well as the pawpads.
Mapping - light outlines or borders around a white marking.
Mapping around dark markings like tabby would be less opaque than the marking but not lighter than the color it sits on.
Pencilling -
Natural Accents: These colors can be used for the Minimal Accents marking, as well as for any markings that allow 'Natural Accent' colors. These colors can also be used for skin and pawpads if natural to the design.
You may use the mini color slider or the extended palette on the right. Pink Accents can be used for white areas where skin shows through, you can also pick pink and tan tones that are natural to a design. Do not use overly saturated pinks if unnatural to a design.
Accents should not be overly saturated or contrasting to a design.
