Strike

(StrStr/nStr) Strike

Strike is a side marking that adds a thick stripe like mark. Strike can be soft edged, hard edged, textured, or fade into the coat with a gradient. Strike can present up to 3 edge types at a time. Strike can be lighter or darker than the base coat and use the natural accents slider.  Strike can be adjusted with opacity to as light as 20% opacity, or present as full opacity 100%. Strike is inspired by mustelid markings and the white marks found on Badgers.

(nStr) Single Allele

With a single allele Strike allows one large stripe, the stripe should not touch the topline or spine.

(StrStr) Dominant
In double allele expression, strike can have up to two stripes. The stripes should be wide and focused primarily on the side, double allele Strike can have a stripe along the topline or spine.

Variation:

Strike can have an adjusted opacity, as light as 20%. Strike can feature up to 3 edge types.

• Strike can sit above or below most markings but must remain under white markings.

• Strike can spread down to 50% of the tail.

• Strike can have fur texture on furred areas.

• Strike can use colors from the Natural Accents Slider as long as the color is natural to the coat.

• Strike does not affect the legs or scaled areas.

• Strike never touches the head.

• A thick dorsal stripe can be added with dominant expression.
