Point

(PtPt/nPt) Point

Point darkens the face, legs, feet, ears, and tailtip, similar to Siamese cats. Point is a less saturated color and darker than the base color.  Point can be pulled from the Natural Accents Sliders but must remain darker or natural to the base coat. 

(nPt) Single Allele

With a single allele carrier the image below represents the average amount of shading on the coat. Shading does not need to fill the entire area and must be one piece without holes.

Point can optionally cover the forelegs, or show Pigeon Legs as they are a scaly texture. The Stinger is not required to be affected by point either, and may be another color natural to the coat. On Long Coat algolope the legs have to be colored by point as no scales or skin are showing.

(PtPt) Dominant
In double allele carrier of point, the gene is often extended to the back of the head, nearly the entire ear, almost 3/4 of the tail, and up to the hips and shoulders. Dominant Point can also be slightly darker than it would normally. 

Variation:

Point can have it's own nuance or a slight fade or transparency closer to the toes. 

• Point can be above or below other markings but must be below all white markings and reversed white marks.

• Point can optionally cover the fore legs, or the legs can be colored via Pigeon freemark. 

• Point can have fur texture on furred areas.

• Point can use colors from the Natural Accents Slider as long as the color is natural to the coat and 'darker' than the base color.
