A Marking that goes atop all other markings, adding a shiny, rainbow-like display of various colors atop the coat. These colors change based on the light source of viewing angle.
(nIri) Single Allele
With a single allele up to two colors from the chart below can be used.
(IriIri) Dominant
In double allele up to three colors can be used from the chart.
Edge:
Edges of Iridescent are Blended or Soft.
Variation:
Iridescent can affect all of the coat or only a small portion.
Iridescent sits above all markings, including white marks such as Pied.
Iridescent should be a highlight or shiny layer above all markings and with a low opacity.
Iridescent can show a soft fur texture in furred areas.
Iridescent can use saturated colors based on the coat color or from the Iridescent Colors chart above.
When using the chart, note the color choices for design approval, any of the colors in the chosen color circle can be used.
