(DrpDrp/nDrp/nDrpF) Droplet //Droplet Fade

Droplet is small teardrop shaped markings, often present on up to 50% of the algolope's body, and is darker than the base color.

Droplet Fade (nDrpF/DrpDrpF)

Droplet markings gradually fade into the coat instead of remaining solid and unbroken. Fade has a small chance to pass to offspring if present on at least one parent.

(nDrp) Single Allele and Double Allele

Droplet has hotspots versus a specific range, at least one location must have a clustering about the size of the algolopes head with droplet markings, though the marking itself can be anywhere on the body or even spread out.

There are no differences between single and double alleles of the gene.

Variation:

Droplet can have a slight nuance of color or a small gradient. 

• Droplet can be above or below other markings but must be below all white markings and reversed white marks.

• Droplet should be darker than what it sits on and may have nuance in accordance with the base coat.

• Droplet maximum size is about the size of the eye. The shape should be a hollow teardrop or diamond shape for the most part but can have a few solid droplet shapes mixed in.

• Droplet can use colors from the Natural Accents Slider as long as it's 'darker' than what it sits over.

• Droplet Fade makes the spots blend out into the base coat.
