Collared

(CoCo/nCo) Collared

This gene affects the neck area of the animal, either making the fur lighter than the base color and adding 1-2 thin or thick stripes around the neck. 

(nCo) Single Allele Collared

Single allele collared can cover a small span or ring around the animals neck, most often at the base of the neck. The Band can be wide or thin.

(CoCo) Dominant Collared

Dominant Collared covers all markings, including Hood, it extends from the back of the head to the start of the withers. 

Variation:

Collared can have up to two rings with a single allele.

• Collared sits above all markings and under white markings.

• Collared does not affect the skin areas.

• Collared can have fur texture in furred areas.

• Collared can use colors from the Natural Accents Slider as long as the color is natural to the coat and 'lighter' than the base color. 

• Collared is affected by Reversal, making the marking 'darker' than the base color.

• Collared can be the same color as white marks and blend into them. 

• Collared can have mapping.
