Cheetah

(ChCh/nCh/+/-) Cheetah

Cheetah adds small spots to the pelt, usually oval, circular, or irregularly shaped, either throughout or intermingled into the coat. Spots are generally darker than the base coat or black colored and can touch edges with up to three spots in one location. Spots should follow the form or shape of the algolope and can vary in size and shape throughout the design.

(nCh) Single Allele

Single allele cheetah shows as a minimum of 5 spots on the coat, spots can be oval, round, or irregular splotches no bigger than the eye. In single allele cheetah, up to three spots may touch in one location. Generally connected spots are found on the tail to form ring like shapes or the chest area. Can optionally show dark tear marks on the face. Spots can vary in size and smaller spots can mix with larger spots.

In double allele cheetah, more of the coat can be covered in spots, or the entire spotting forms thick interconnected spots and stripe like splotches. The back of the algo will often show spots formed into 1 to 3 bands along the back. All spots are less circular or oval and more oddly shaped.

Optional to add tear marks or white undermarks.

Edge:

Edges of Spot can be Soft, Blurred or Hard.

Variation:

Cheetah can have it's own nuance or a slight fade or transparency closer to the underside and backs of legs.

Cheetah can be above or below other markings but must be below all white markings and reversed white marks.
Cheetah can optionally cover the fore legs, or the legs can be colored via Pigeon freemark.
Cheetah can have fur texture on furred areas.
Cheetah can use colors from the Natural Accents Slider as long as the color is natural to the coat and 'darker' than the base color.
Cheetah can be affected by Reversal '-' and spots will show lighter than the base coat.
White marks show on ChCh+ only, but it can be left out of the design and instead 'hidden'. nCh+ is simply a carrier and white will not show at all.
