Circle Sticker
Copy Illustrator Template
Go to the Circle Sticker Template
If you aren't already signed in to Adobe, click "Sign in" in the top right corner.
Click "Copy to Files"
Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Rename: Right-click on the file and click "Rename" to add your last name to the start:
"Last Name, Circle Sticker"
Open: Right-click and click "Open"
Workspace: Adjust your workspace (go to "Window" > "Workspace" > "Essentials Classic")
Choose a Drawing Reference
Pick a reference or free hand draw:
Choose a reference on the left of the file and click and drag it over to the artboard
Find a different reference online
Free hand draw something
Lock "References" Layer: In the "Layers" panel, click the empty square to the left of the "References" layer to lock it.
Trace/Draw & Add color
Using the "Paintbrush Tool" and your tablet pen, trace the reference or free hand draw.
Save as .AIC and .PDF
Go to "File" > "Save" to make sure to save your .aic file (if it is grayed out then it is already saved).
Go to "File" > "Save As..."
Choose "On your computer"
Click "Creative Cloud Files" folder on the left menu
Name: "Last Name, Circle Sticker"
Click "Save"
Click "Save PDF"
Once you save as a .pdf, exit out of Illustrator. If you need to edit again and resave, make sure to edit your .aic file and re-save as a .pdf.
Turn in to Canvas
Turn in your .pdf file on Canvas in the "Circle Sticker" assignment.
Mrs. Hodges Will Print
Want your sticker design printed?
Once you turn in your design, decide how many stickers you want to be printed (1-3) and tell Mrs. Hodges.
Sticker Rules
No stickers on Chromebooks
No stickers on school property
No stickers on property that is not yours
Remember I know who designed each sticker. Be responsible with who you give them to.
