Clark College Dual Credit

Register in SERS

  1. Go to: https://www.ctesers.org/Account/CreateStudent

  2. Click "Student"

  3. Click "Create New SERS Account"

  4. Create a Student Account:

    • Choose a Username

    • Fill out the form

    • Use your personal email (NOT your school email)

    • Follow the instructions to create your password.

    • Log in


If you already have a SERS account because you are getting Dual Credit for another class, log in at: https://www.ctesers.org/Account/StudentLogin


  1. Email yourself your username and password so that if you forget, you have the information.

  2. Click the "Registration" > "Register for Classes

  3. Fill in search options:

    • School District: Vancouver School District

    • High School: Fort Vancouver High School

    • High School Class: Graphic Design AND/OR Advanced Graphic Design

    • Teacher: HODGES, EMMA

    • College: Clark College

  4. Click "Search"

  5. Check the box in the left column under "Check to Register"

  6. Click "Register Classes"

  7. Click "Save & Register"

Create a CTC Account & Apply to Clark

If you are already a Running Start or Clark College student, skip this step, but make sure you know your ctcLink SID (Student ID number).

  1. Create an account at: https://apply.ctc.edu/register

    • Choose a Username (anything you will remember) and password

    • Fill out the form

    • Use your personal email (NOT your school email)

    • Click "Submit"

  2. Choose your three security questions and answers.

  3. Email yourself your username, password and three security questions/answers so that if you forget, you have the information.

  4. Check your email for a one-time password. Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it.

  5. Log in

  6. Apply to Clark

    • Ignore the “percentage complete” at the top of the screen. You may not reach 100% by the end of the application. Focus on completing the required (*) fields.

    • You will be asked to enter your social security number. If you do not know your social security number, you may leave the space blank and continue with the application.

Grade & Portfolio Submission

As you know, you need to have earned an A both semesters and have a completed portfolio to earn CTE Dual Credit.

  1. Confirm with Mrs. Hodges that she has:

  • Submitted your grade to SERS

  • Sent your portfolio to Clark College

Email for Transcription

  1. You should receive an acceptance email (with your ctcLink ID) within 3-5 business days of applying to Clark College. Find the acceptance email from Clark College (check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it) and write down your ctcLink ID number.

  2. In your personal email, start a new email.

  3. In the "To:" area, copy and paste the following emails: dualcredit@clark.edu, emma.hodges@vansd.org

  4. In the "Subject:" area, copy and paste the following: CTE Dual Credit Transcription - DMA 102

  5. In the body of the email, copy and paste the text below and replace the red text with your ctcLink ID number and full name:


Hello,

My ctcLink SID is: (Replace with your ctcLink ID number from the acceptance email)

Mrs. Hodges at Fort Vancouver High School has submitted my grade in SERS and sent my portfolio to the DMA Department Head. Once my portfolio is verified, can you please transcribe "DMA 102 Illustrator Vector Graphics" for me?
