Malaysia is one of the developing countries facing the issue of the growth of the older population. Hence the need for the elderly housing increase. However, Malaysia's current housing lacks consideration of the mental and physical needs of the elderly. There is a great disconnection of the elderly from the social context and leading to the loneliness, depression, and anxiety of them. Biophilic design is an approach of therapy for the health being of the elderly. This design considers the relationship between humans and the natural environment.
