Design Pre-thesis 3 | Nurturing Urban Entrepreneur through Creative and Healthy Working Hub
Users’ comfort and health should not be disregard upon designing a working space. It is important to adapt the concept of humanizing space to ensure that the space is designed to be fully utilized by the users. This study is conducted based on the scenario of wellness of inhabitants. This study seeks to provide design response that promote comfort and health by optimizing natural daylighting into its internal spaces. This study hypothesized that good daylighting strategies will not only promote thermal and visual comfort, but also help to achieve equilibrium between ‘Environment’, ‘Building’ and ‘Human’. It refers to the consideration on environmental factors, building operations and human as users are needed and must be in balance in order to humanize the spaces provided. Humanizing the internal spaces is important to provide habitable and comfortable spaces.
