AMPANG DISCOVERY CENTER is a place that represents the spirit of Ampang city, its design is to deliver the local community spirit of Ampang city and to promote & highlight the essence of information of Ampang city, where visitors – tourism could explore and understand the local identity of urban lifestyle.

Ampang Discovery Center is located at the corner lot facing the most congested junction of the city, where the intersection of Jalan Ampang, Jalan P.Ramlee & Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. A link bridge is proposed to elevate on top of the crossing point of the road without obstructing the existing main road and to connect all directions of pedestrians in order to improve the moment of urban user travel from one place to another point. The link bridge proposed to a better safety pedestrian for the urban user to travel under secure and comfortable senses, at the same time it gives different perspectives of eye-view toward the city. By integrate greenery features, gives a sense of harmony and to beautify the cityscape between the high-rise buildings.

Ampang Discovery Center is more than ordinary, it celebrates the lifestyle of the city as a public social space with multi-facated approach of the planning, design, and management that encourages social interaction between people, at the same time benefit to the urban environment.
