All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) meeting will be held Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 from 9:30 - 10:30 am, online.
Here is the agenda:
-- Data Management & Technology Modernization (DMTM) Initiative (Carter Inmam, Jess McDonald, and Misty Daleiden, 20 min) - Members of the Data Management and Technology Modernization Initiative workstreams will deliver updates on their current work.
-- Regulatory reporting & data infrastructure (Colin DeLong, 10-15 minutes) - The last few years have seen several new / updated compliance and regulatory reporting efforts at the state and federal level, as well as accreditation processes. These efforts - which aren’t always well-understood - can have implications for the University’s data infrastructure, and so this talk will focus on that interplay, some of the reporting challenges, and potential future work.
-- AI Assisted Development with API Gateways, currently LiteLLM (Ilya Begelman, 10-15 minutes) - The University is standing up an AI API Gateway (LiteLLM) designed to integrate directly into existing development and other relevant workflows. By connecting your preferred coding tools to this gateway, you gain the flexibility to switch between frontier models based on your specific coding needs while maintaining necessary data security and compliance standards. This infrastructure also transitions away from rigid, per-seat licensing, enabling usage-based tracking that simplifies departmental chargebacks.
Sincerely,
The IDEAA Steering Committee (Colin DeLong, Tim Gagner, Amy Schult, Ilya Begelman, Jake Johnson, Jessica Ford, and Ian Whitney)
