All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Tuesday, June 12th, from 9:30am to 11:00am, in 402 Walter Library.
Here is the agenda:
-- Deep dive - Dell Boomi (Chris Dinger; 10-15 min) - With the integration middleware contract recently signed, it’s time to get a tour of what’s possible with Dell Boomi, courtesy Chris Dinger. Please come prepared to offer ideas about how you might be able make use of this spiffy new technology.
-- Student Rating of Teaching SaaS migration (Dan Glover; 10-15 min) - Presentation on this effort, including the cloud migration, status of code updates and how Dell Boomi might figure in regarding future integration with the Works project and other potential partners across the university.
-- Deep dive - Enterprise Asset Management (Brian Hill; 10-15 min) - A follow-up of sorts to our EAM topic from a while back. Work has happened, but what’s been built thus far? Hear all about it.
-- Demo: Real-time integration with Canvas/Moodle (Eric Perrino; 10-15 min) - Another demo! This time, learn about how real-time integration works with Canvas and Moodle, cloud-based pub/sub via AWS SQS, Caliper, the LMS Common Data Layer, and next steps, as well as potential future work using Kafka.
-- Data Governance: Common Dimensions (Amy Schult; 10 min) - Presentation on the Data Governance work on developing common dimensions to be used across reporting and integrations. Discussion will be on the first area: person characteristics.
