All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) meeting will be held Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 from 9:30 - 11:00 am, online.
Here is the agenda:
-- IDEAA Community Insights (Tonu Mikk and Christopher Stordalen, 15 - 20 min) - Hear from the DRC and LATIS, who responded to the call for innovative work ideas / efforts that went out a few weeks ago:
Tonu Mikk, Disability Resource Center (DRC), will present on a Boomi process that queries a Grouper group and emails changes in the group. The process uses the "Find changes" shape/step in Boomi. Others may find this solution helpful as there is broad use of Grouper groups that are automatically updated from PeopleSoft. This is a good way to stay up to date with changes.
Christopher Stordalen, Liberal Arts Technologies and Innovation Services (LATIS), will present on "CLA High-Volume Hiring Management Solutions,” including aligning with PEAK requirements, I-9 process management, and related Tableau reporting.
-- Legacy Data Warehouse Virtual Team (Jessica Velguth, 10 - 15 min) - The LDW Virtual Team (DMTM Initiative: Business Use Analysis workstream) will showcase progress on broader IT community outreach, personas, and survey development. The team will share information about the personas in advance and seek community input at the meeting.
-- The Enterprise Data Platform (Jeremiah Hackler and Bob Stewart, 20 min) - Will provide an update on the progress, the next few project milestones, and the EDP website, and answer questions that may have come up since the last IDEAA meeting.
-- EDMR Data Governance (Amy Schult, 5 min) - Update on data cataloging activities for the LDW & EDP as well as our direction for a new data governance tool.
