All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 2020, from 9:30am to 11:00am, online.
Here is the agenda:
-- COVID-related system integrations (Colin DeLong, Stephanie Klein/Dan Glover, 10min) - The coronavirus has impacted every facet of the University and required numerous extremely short turnaround integration projects in order to facilitate numerous critical processes. In this brief talk, we will cover a few such projects such as the APLUS / Zoom integration and OMS’s online SRT process.
-- Walkthrough of the new Software Development Standard (Bob Alberti; 15-20 min) - UIS will walk through the Software Development Standard introduced as part of the updated Information Security requirements last year.
-- OIT Integration Team updates (Tim Gagner/Mark Skweres, 20min) - The team will discuss recent platform improvement efforts for Boomi / APIs, as well as an in-depth chat regarding the API manager now in place, including naming standards, catalog publishing, and the like. There’ll also be a rundown of the current status of other related efforts and time for Q&A.
-- EDMR updates (Elysia Wallace; 10 min) - EDMR is developing a Data Literacy Program that will provide UMN faculty and staff with tools and resources to become more data literate; allowing them to utilize, consume and share University data more effectively and in alignment with University policies and procedures. You’ll also hear about the Display Name guidance EDMR has developed in partnership with OIT and Pillars (i.e., Student, Finance, HR, etc) for various reporting environments.
