All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Tuesday, April 13th, 2021, 2021, from 9:30am to 11:00am, online.
Here is the agenda:
-- Enterprise Data & Analytics update (Justin Dale, 15 min) - This is an update from Justin’s last presentation at the 2.9.21 IDEAA meeting titled "Developing a UM Analytics Technology Roadmap". Justin will share an update on activities that have taken place since that meeting along with the upcoming work and expected timelines for the rest of 2021.
-- OIT Integration Team updates (Tim Gagner & Derek Widner, 20 min) - Status update and quick demo of common good integrations, including the soft launch of endpoints within the Person Basic Information API. What you need to know in order to begin using them. Discuss the next common good APIs being planned for release.
-- IAM Updates (Nathan Kufner, 10-15 min) - Nathan will share the Center of Excellence model being developed by Identity and Access Management (IAM). His presentation will touch on a number of technologies and how the IAM team can provide a service during the budget challenges the University is facing. The CoE model impacts Grouper in July but could be used for BetterCloud and potentially other services.
-- ETL tooling - Airflow / Great Expectations (Eric Perrino, 10-15 min) - This presentation will cover using Airflow and Great Expectations to fully automate and validate all stages of an example ELT data pipeline. We are working to incorporate these tools into our own data pipelines to improve the efficiency and quality of the data that we provide.
